It was on PC since 2020, there'll be crossplay on all platforms although among the official Discord server we have our doubts about the subscription system it has (you can't access multiplayer or clubs unless you pay for a subscription) or the situation of mods in the game (the tracks themselves are mods as well and I won't start to mention those mods use to make the maps look great)
cloud platforms means google stadia (there are also other services but not sure if they'll be supported). So instead of running the game on your pc, it runs the game on another pc and streams the result back to you. It's good if you have a low end pc but it requires a very good internet connection, and I've heard there is a bit of input delay
@@j-swag7438 Of course streaming your inputs to their servers and the servers streaming the result back to you has a delay. Which is weird that they wanted to add Trackmania, one of the most precision type racers ever, on cloud services.
No Nintendo switch is such a shame. I have no reason to buy it again when my PC and consoles are next to each other. Least on switch I could play on the go. Such a shame
You didn't have to buy it for your PC to begin with. It's a subscription service AND it's cross platform cross progression which means you only need to login to your console and you have the same everything and you pay for one.
Switch would just not be able to run this game, not at all. It would be nice if Switch ran the cloud versions. Or try playing on a Steam Deck for a handheld experience instead.
@@Mandarin9900 Have you seen the things the switch can run? It might have issues since many maps are player made and can have actual lag intense items, but the vanilla maps could potentially work. I only say this because my laptop has issues with some games like Fenyx Rising which has a stable port on the switch but runs Trackmania like butter.
They were saying that player created tracks would be accessible so maybe not tmx but a track browser of some sort built in, or there will probably be a way to download maps from tmx when someone figures it out
@@hereforthepizza2345 tmx added a favourite maps feature recently. it will add the track to your in-game favourites so you'll still be able to play tmx maps!
So excited to hear TM 2020 is coming to Consoles!!!
I put alot of hours into Trackmania Turbo on PS4. I may check this one out.
Can’t wait to play this on Stadia! 😎🎉
Yeah I catch the joke. Cuz stadia is completely dead.
This Trackmania is based on the "Stadium" environment. So you'll literally be playing Stadium on Stadia. :D Good stuff.
@@Zynet_Eseled Yay, I've played a dead console for the past 3 days. Guess I'm a zombie! 😆
lol
Please allow Splitscreen at least on the PS5 and the Series consoles! (4 player splitscreen that is) :)
Stable 60 fps is a must!
Resolution can vary.
They already have splitscreen on the pc version so I don't see why splitscreen wouldn't be added to the console versions
Looks good!
Finally :D
What does “cloud platforms” mean? Can I play on pc?

YES, COME BACK AGAIN WCG 2023
No Nintendo switch is such a shame. I have no reason to buy it again when my PC and consoles are next to each other. Least on switch I could play on the go. Such a shame
you need at least a semi-decent pc to run the game so I imagine the framerate would be unbearable on the switch
@@j-swag7438 Its not that heavy. With some optimazations, distance reductions and textures it could be theoretically possible.

Real question is: will tmx be accessible for console players?

Yes!!! Stadia release!!!
niceeeeeeeeeeeee great news! can we use same account as PC?
Considering they said cross progression I assume yes.
@@ThiVasss Oh, thanks!
