      @@omgbikes your review helped me make my decision on which one to purchase. I got the A6 Razor and it's awsome! Got it for my son. He's 12 and it's something he will have for a while and grow with. I love the way it looks! Had no idea the wheels were that big! Lol. I honestly didn't know there was an A6 until I saw your review. It didn't come up in my searches until I specifically typed in A6! But I got it on Amazon 8/24/20 for $150 with same say shipping. It's kinda high but I didn't care. In the era of Playstation and video games and digital learning, I was glad to get my son excited about going out to play again and get some exercise. Thank you again!

    Hi there, great video. I own the A5 and the A6 and I prefer the A6 because it handles better and gets you further ahead due to the much larger wheels. The only thing I dislike about the A6 is when you unfold the scooter, if you dont screw the knob tight enough to keep the scooter unfolded it will sometimes collapse. Twice this has happened to me so I make sure the knob remains tight and check regularly to see it has not shaken loose. Other than that the A6 is my preferred scooter of choice for longer distances.

    Best Razor scooter review on TH-cam. Heck, best kick scooters review in general. Can’t go wrong with Razor. My first childhood scooter, and glad to say I will be getting the A6 thanks to this review. Commute will be more fun than driving.

      Anything is more fun than driving. ridiculous prices for insurance, zero insurance on kick. Ridiculous prices on car maintenance and or repair minimal on kick. Being forced to have a drivers license for a car no license for kick . Pig harassment involving extortion ticketing for parking violations, speeding violations the pigs can't touch you on kick. love kick scooters!

    Wanted to try something new (older adult) and decided to pick up the A5 with the orangish red wheels. Talk about a lot of fun! Very nimble and cruises along nicely once you get moving. In your video you show the A5 having some play in the folding mechanism, I can definitely hear it when riding the scooter. Can hear the clacks and noise when going over any imperfections. I thought maybe it was a defective unit but watched other videos and they all did the same thing. No big deal for me, the fun and ease of use makes up for the noises.

    If anybody is still lurking around these videos, I've got a question for you. I had an A5 Lux I drove into the ground and have now moved to an A6. The A5 Lux had different handling than the A6 and I'm trying to figure out what the difference is. The A5 felt like it wanted to go forward. If I was riding forward there was some resistance when I tried to turn left and right. I don't mean that it was hard to turn, more like the wheel "settled" in the forward position and didn't want to wobble around after that. This made it very stable, and I could drive the thing with one hand if I needed to. The A6 feels incredibly squirrely in comparison, where if I don't have two hands on the handlebars it could swing right or left at any moment. I know you can 'tighten' the steering but it just doesn't feel the same. Am I missing something? Is it different, or do I just need to adjust it more?

    Thank for making this! I just impulse-bought a StreetRunner Dart and wanted to see how it compares, after having the original Razor back when it first came out.
    Seems like mine is very similar to the A5 with a bit wider board and a front shock that seems pretty amazing. No problem hitting surprisingly big cracks and bumps.
    I'd like to try the A5 Air and the A6, but it's to bad rhey don't make the A6 in an Air version or all rhe other A5 variations. (But then I see the speed bump as I post this...)

    A6 great scooter had over 2 years now - it is fast and glides well - great for commuting to work - I wish more adults would use them 59 here - I get filmed by people D - will do some tours soon - I prefer manual push scooter due to exercise and balance - electric would remove that - only issues I had was rattling from the stem nut which just need tightening and the the screw in lock can loosen with vibration but it gets better as The scooter wears in a bit over time including the wheel brakes better too - but except when ridden in the wet be careful and metal drain covers

    Thanks! Because my area doesn't repair the bumpy roads so often, I'll might pass the A6 and get something with a suspension and higher platform. (aka cheaper knockoffs). OR get a folding bike... hmm. Hope Razor adds a suspension and a higher platform in the future.
    I have 3 small wheel scooters (Razors) and two 8 inch wheelers. I've floan multiple times over the smaller wheelers; my kids flipped as well. Friend's kid busted teeth. Duh. When they got the bigger wheels with higher platforms, they aren't dumped over anymore. More leg exercise too!

    I got the A6 razor not to long ago and I wish I could buy longer handles that could click into place as it would allow for more stability and steering but it looks like nobody offers any without replacing the whole bar and handles which it's too bad. It would be nice to have extra play in the steering and also having hands out wider giving more control over balance with arms. Perhaps one day razor can sell more accessories for the A6.

    Excellent vid, thank you very much for sharing and all the effort that went into it. One thing I am missing is minimum handlebar height comparison for all three. I am curious about that because I am wondering if my child could go straight to A5 and skip A3. That way i could borrow it sometimes, like when i am dropping them off at a beach but have to go to park in a distant lot. Already have a threewheeled scooter for her and big one for me that i cannot stow easily in the car, so small enough for her that could carry me would be great addition. Thanks anyway though!

It has 15 inch space for feet, bottom of deck is about 2 inches and top of deck is a tad shy of 4 inches above the ground. So a little more leg bending to push but still manageable. Cannot go wrong with a Razor.

    I would of definitely bought an old school haro/gt scooter for myself over the big one. It's it because of nostalgia from my childhood? Most definitely

      agreed. light weight is nice though...

    What was the reason why the A6 was scraping over the speed bump and not on the A5?
    Is the A5 taller platform than the A6 frame?

    • @lawangus
      @lawangus ปีที่แล้ว

      The distance between the points of wheels touching the ground is longer.

    Any scooter would you recommend for someone that’s 5’11 or 6 feet. Really want one but don’t want to buy one that’s short

    • @omgbikes
      @omgbikes  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      if you're considering the Razor scooter type - the A5 or A6 would fit you fine. A6 would be better, but again, the ground clearance is something to be mindful of.

    Great video thank you so much. I'm in the UK and nobody seems to sell the A6 any longer so it took me some time to be able to order it. I wonder if they discontinued it and upgraded the A5 to Lux instead? Someone mentioned the brake on the A6 is not that great - hope it's not true.

    • @omgbikes
      @omgbikes  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A6 still on Razor's website, so I don't think they discontinued. My brake is working fine. Enjoy it!

      @@omgbikes turns out they can't keep up with the demand... my order was cancelled, because they are out of stock too. This was the main UK distributor who supplies the big chains and the guy said stock is coming only in December, at the moment all they produce in China is going to the US market. :/ Not sure if I want to wait till December or start researching for a big wheel alternative.

      @@glasss1978 interesting. i would have thought the big rush was over and inventory would be coming available more freely. maybe time to buy some razor stock instead of scooters. lol.

    Good video. In my opinion the A6 (which I just acquired) is over-hyped and over-priced in comparison with the A5 (of which I have two).

    HOLAAAAA UNA PREGUNTAAA
    LA A6 ES MEJOR EN CUESTIONES DE DISTANCIA QUE LA A5.
    LA LLANTA HACE LA DIFERENCIA O SOLO ES TEMAS DE TAMAÑO?

      the a6 is smoother, and it may be marginally better over longer distances. for neighborhood rides, they're both great! thanks for watching!
