Research is built on previously published studies in your field. Attempting to use the ideas, words, or work of another, without giving them due credit, is called plagiarism and is considered extremely unethical. And accidental plagiarism could happen to you if you've not mastered publication ethics. This makes it critical to add a plagiarism check as an essential pre-submission requirement before you submit your paper to a journal.
This video offers five critical tips to avoid plagiarism in your research, including paraphrasing, adding the correct citations and references, and more. If you can think of more ways to avoid accidental plagiarism, please share your views in the comments section.

My English teacher sent us this video, is a very good video with good tips. Is just sad that nowadays teachers can't even explain something as simple as this. They just send links and you pretty much teach yourself. But of course, they keep charging you the same amount of money and they don't even take the time to teach.

Plagiarism and copyright are both so fucking dumb. The amount of careful you have to be to avoid this on accident is ridiculous. Especially when the consequences are so severe. Imagine if when we talked, we cited every source for what we said. Speeches don't require you to cite the source of the most basic facts. 🤓 "Right here, you mentioned the word science in your text, but you forgot to cite the inventor of science." It's so hypocritical cause teachers don't have to cite sources for known facts. Because it's known. scientific. fact. Countermeasures for copyright and plagiarism are a plague.
