Time Crisis II Opening Comparison

Left - Time Crisis II (Arcade Version 1997 Original)
Right - Time Crisis II (PS2 Version 2001 Remake)
The PS2 Version is faster than the arcade version and their graphics are compared and different to each other almost the same difference as Crisis Zone.

I actually prefer Christy's arcade model so much more than the PS2 version

Huge part of my childhood. It brings tears to my eyes hearing any form of soundtrack from this game or images. Infact i used to spend extended periods of time on the main menu listening to the main theme 😢😅
I still own the pedal/gun with this game despite not currently owning a CRT TV; it goes without saying current TVs are incompatible with the gun pedal setup. Im hoping to get my hands on one in the near future. Thanks for the upload

The Arcade version looks more like a PS1 game. And I think that makes it look better.

Time Crisis 2 nearly got ported to the ps1 before being moved to PS2 and releasing Time Crisis Project Titan on PS1 instead

@@ClassicSonicSatAm It also was about to get a Dreamcast release, before the premature death of that console caused Namco to move it (and a few other titles) to the PS2 instead. That of which ended up being the smart choice for certain.

The arcades lower poly count makes it look so much better IMO. Shame that the home ports look "better". It takes the soul out of them. The worst offender is crisis zone. Eugh.

Also the colors seem more vibrant on the arcade version.

I think Crisis Zone's PS2 graphics are better. Here, the arcade version is the winner.
