I just wanna say I appreciate your content bro, I am new to fighting games, SF6 is my first real try at learning and trying to become proficient at one... I really love the storylines and history of the scene and how you shine a light on it, this comment isn't aimed particularly at this video but at your stuff in general, I love learning about how these players I'm watching now were dominant back then, how things have changed and continued to evolve, I appreciate you bringing a new guy like me up to speed on the history of things with your ongoing content and coverage of events, we need more people doing this stuff like you!!! Cheers man
Same as you man. New player here and don't know anything about the scene. Brian is doing such a great job to paint us the story lines and all that stuff.
Guess I've been taking Duolingo spanish course long enough to understand Brian's spanish. I don't know why, but the phrase "hablan espanol para todo los dias en street fighter league" sounds so funny.
😱crazy hitbox on the storm when Rashid "kicks" it, frame by frame @43:56 to see it clip the startup of a cr_jab from half a screen away 🤯"breaking news", i know
Didn't even notice that while editing. Almost certainly some kind of production hiccup happened during round 2 (monitor went out, console froze, etc.) and they needed to restart the game, but preserve the score. It looks like Zhen starts with slightly less meter than he ended round 1 with, too, so they probably tried to approximately recreate the conditions and then let the round time over.
@@CyberGoons Yep! If a player causes an issue (i.e. pausing the game), then they usually forefeit the round or game. But for external issues, they will attempt to recreate the game state. This is across most fighting games; it's in the evo ruleset, for example.
Booce is a street fighter nerd focused on getting better..but im sure we will see more of his wild side once he gets comfy and used to all this..he really lowkey funny though😂😂😂😂
Street Fighter League airs weekly for several months straight. The players can't take months off of their jobs, so they knock it all out in a week and then air it in episodes.
@@BrainGeniusEditor also SFL US also includes Parts of Asia so they can’t have the matches played online due to the connection I’m sure if they have just make SFL Japan just all of Asia and have US just be North America with DR and Mexico and other close Central America countries all of SFL could be live.
Go to youtube and search sf6 fundementals or (insert character here) sf6 tutorial or bnb combos. You can get a character to master fairly fast and easy with just practicing the basics of the game and bnb combos/punishes/setups for that character
Doesn't get in my mind that people can see players like NL stand there at neutral range spamming fireballs for a whole round and say "That's the SHIT! I wanna play like this dude!"

@@BrainGeniusEditor That makes a lot of sense, I didn’t even think of that. Is that usually the solution to when hardware issues happen in bracket?
