jawaddell77 I have another video “Generator Shed Modifications” that shows the whole set-up. I can run our gas-fired forced air heater, well pump, gas hot water heater, all lights (led bulbs) refrigerator, gas range, wifi, cable, TV, pretty much all we need. It will not run the AC but that is not a necessity. Hope that helps.
Jim McGovern Thanks! I have the Champion 7500/9500 unit like yours. Just recently finished installing an interlock and 30 amp breaker going to my PB30 inlet box with 10awg. I am going to test it soon. My goal is to be able to run 2 gas furnaces, gas tankless hot water, freezer, fridge, WiFi, and a few lights and receptacles. Since you have experience with this, do you think this is doable?
I am. I am not an electrician, and there are calculations you can do to provide a more definitive answer, but based on my experience you should be fine. Especially since you are have gas heat, you are just powering the fans and electronics.
