8 years later and this still one of the most helpful. A lot of us learned the same way you seem to have, just by sound lol. Supper instructive man. Thanks!
I believe the chords are Em7, G, D/f# for first section, and then Cadd9 D/F#, Em for the lalala bit then goes to G, D/F#, Em, cadd9 for main chorus. There may be other names for these chords but that's what it been taught there names are. Great vid this is same way I play it still struggling with the strumming pattern whilst singing tho.
I can't say exactly but its mostly just down up strumming but every now and them missing one of them out. So like Down, Skip, Down, Up, Down, Up, Down, Up, Down, Up, Down, Up, Down, Up, Down ,Up, Skip, Down, Up and so forth.
So, I might be wayyyy too late on this video, you're probably not even gonna see this comment anyway but... I just recently started to play the guitar and let me say a massive thank you for this video. It helped me a lot!!!! :) 💘 The way you described the chords were so entertaining, so that really made it even better. Thank you so so much! :) + Your voice is excellent.
IKR ! I heard his voice and I was like "wait.... Luke did guitar tutorials ?!??" But then I watched the video and saw that it was clearly not him... But he's GREAT :)
wahh thank you so much! that really helped me. I had already put some chords together that it sounds like the song but sometimes I mixed them up that it sounds like shit.. :D
haha well I found the number 1 most annoying thing when people make tutorials is that they use a capo and I remember when I didn't have a capo and tried to learn songs, was just frustrating.
I'm waaaayyyyyyy late on this lol but those chords are G, Em7, Cadd9, and Dsus4/F#. I'm pretty sure you've already figured this out by now tho lol (btw: you have an amazing voice)
Jordan Fenwick This is the newest comment I've found but what's the strumming pattern? Please reply soon! I want to play this song as soon as possible.
LOVE IIITTT!!!! awesome lesson man thanks a lot I've been trying to learn this song and thanks to you I finally did... thanks for real man. Sincerely Dante Vega
Hey awesome video but I try to follow you on how to play it and kind of understand on the chords you was playing. Can you do each chords by each section that be helpful like put the chords on your description that be thankful and helpful I want learn this song so bad I got the intro right but the rest is a screw up or email me the chords by each section thanks man nice video
How is playing only so easy and then I start singing and it's hard as hell D': whatever I could totally unterstand it even as a beginner thanks so much!
MelissaChan3 It takes practice but you will get it :) Timing can be a very tricky thing. The piano is a good example, two separate hands flowing at two separate times but the sounds interlock and connect with each other.
Thanks for the encouragement :) it's weird, I can play the chords on point along with the singing, but as soon as I start doing the strumming pattern, I get totally distracted..whatever, I'll keep trying :)
heh i need to know when you change chords, if you change after "down skip down up down up and then change chord etc." or something, please :) great video though!
Do you have a tutorial on how to sing or is it just a thing you get naturally... I was able to sing but i haven't in a while so i kinda lost it toward puberty😁😁
cj bartino singing isn't actually a talent you can learn, you must already posses this talent to truly refine it. Don't get me wrong, if you can sing and take vocal lessons than you can polish up your voice, but it wouldn't come close to someone who could sing and has refined it. Singing during puberty is also important for maintaining ability. I used to be a decent singer before puberty, but I'm proud to say I've gotten so much better since the voice change. ( puberty was a godsend for me )
i can't even see you completely but i already like you you're fun and sing so nice and have nice arms and hands and the ring on your finger gets me going and your veins ok this is totally creepy
Bro your way of explaining is honestly the best ive seen. “Some kind of D chord” love it bro. We know what you mean.
First chord is called 'Wonderwall' :D
exactly what i thought lol
Em7
they’re all called wonder wall 🤪
Haha😂😂😂
9 years later and you’re still a legend

I can't say exactly but its mostly just down up strumming but every now and them missing one of them out. So like Down, Skip, Down, Up, Down, Up, Down, Up, Down, Up, Down, Up, Down, Up, Down ,Up, Skip, Down, Up and so forth.

haha well I found the number 1 most annoying thing when people make tutorials is that they use a capo and I remember when I didn't have a capo and tried to learn songs, was just frustrating.
Very thoughtful of you
Can you put here just the chords? I'm not so good with english...
First chords an Em/d and the last one is a Gsus2
So I think the D chord is an inverted Dsus4 with the third (F#) in the bass
Your voice

hey man seen your video and i liked it. anyway you can send me a tab for this song? thanks bro.
How is playing only so easy and then I start singing and it's hard as hell D': whatever I could totally unterstand it even as a beginner thanks so much!

Its a focus issue, master either the lyrics or chords first then begin, or practice playing the chords with the pattern without singing
You have a really great voice!
you sound like Derek from MayDay Parade :3
heh i need to know when you change chords, if you change after "down skip down up down up and then change chord etc." or something, please :) great video though!
