Syria was one of the countries I visited at the beginning of my TH-cam journey. When I posted my trip precisely two years ago, I had less than 10 thousand subscribers. I am resharing these videos for a wider audience now and sharing my experiences from Syria with my guide. Syria is a country that cannot be visited solo, and you have to have a guide assigned by the government for security reasons, but also, your trip details get reported to the government at the end of your trip by your travel agency. That is why I had a companion most of the time in Syria.🇸🇾✈️
Davud, u r amazing. I watched your Syrian vlogs when u visited there during your early TH-cam series. Is Mary the same guide you had when u first visited Syria? How awesome. I'm sure this visit will be a more interesting one than before. Stay safe Davud ❤❤
David i knew biden would worm his way back into syria, but i dont think the u.s. is there to help Assad fight hillarys isis. i watched a video where you visited syria before. i want to visit Assad territories, I am an evangelical praying for Assad.

I am from Central America and it makes me sad to see children trying to get some money to believe in someone superior like God is good because we are not alone the problem is that in the Middle East the issue of religions is very strong people instead of solving problems through dialogue they kill each other and as long as people have that connection of dying for religions it will never change and those who suffer the most are women and children men are only good at creating wars the same thing does the United States and Israel takes advantage of all that chaos to make money the Arabs and Israelites killing each other and they making money we have to change if not the world will end soon
It will only happen if strong muslim countries think for the weak and poor muslims instead of torturing them... otherwise this genocide will be going on as it is
Soon enough it will happen. Once foreign countries stop interfering militarily and actually go back to establishing trade relations the country will prosper, it is full of resources and the population is historically a hard working one
Not only LA need your prayers….the entire State of California needs prayers……we have more crimes and Restrictions than all the mid-East countries…..our Rights are being taken away one by one….we no longer have freedom of Speech…….and YT is one example of censoring our speech in comments…..
Twelve years ago, a peaceful uprising against the Syrian president escalated into a full-scale civil war. The conflict has caused the death of over half a million people, destroyed cities, and involved other countries. The war has resulted in immense suffering for the Syrian population, with over half of the pre-war population of 22 million being forced to flee their homes. More than 6.8 million Syrians are internally displaced, with over two million living in tented camps and having limited access to basic services. An additional 6 million Syrians are refugees or asylum-seekers abroad, and countries like Lebanon, Jordan, and Turkey, which are hosting 5.3 million of them, have struggled to cope with one of the largest refugee exoduses in recent history. As of the beginning of 2023, the UN reported that 15.3 million people in Syria required humanitarian assistance, which is an all-time high since the war began. Furthermore, 12 million Syrians did not know where their next meal was coming from. Although the government has regained control of Syria's biggest cities, rebels, jihadists, and the Kurdish-led SDF still hold large parts of the country, and there have been no changes in the front lines for three years.
Amazing how much inflation has happened in Syria since this video..now the dollar is equal to 13,000 pounds..I would love to visit this countries but I am alone and older…you are a very lucky man to be able to visit these historic places..Damascus is one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world..what a history
Damascus looks nice and not fully conservative which is great to see. Hope it rebuilds soon and Syrians who left can come to a peaceful and prosperous country
Im very amazed of all the videos I've watch everytime you upload it, I'm a subscriber from the Philippines. I enjoyed it a lot. To see different countries you have visited from Nepal India, pkistan , Sri Lanka , turkey Maldives ,Azerbaijan and now in Syria. As if I'm also traveling because I had an opportunity to see it from your vlog. Thank you for all the places you had been keep it up, you're the best travel vlogger . Take care. God Bless you.

I didn't realize when I was watching it that it was from 2 years ago. I wonder how things are there now? It really surprised me how normal things seemed there with all the crisis Syria has faced the past years. It warmed my heart to meet Mary and the brothers at the end. They are great representatives of Syria. They could be all of our neighbors. Just people living their lives and showing hospitality to the guests in their country. I hope that Syria finds peace and happiness for its people. It is a historical and important country in the Middle East.
Syria is an amazing country with so much history. I love the was the streets feel in the winter time, along with christmas with all of the decorations. Godbless the people of Syria.
New hair style Davud! Looks nice! You reminds me of best shawerma in the world from Middle East. so yummy. I missed them a lot. I used to have at least two 1 chicken 1 lamb . That's my dinner eating while walking on my way back home after my duty.
I know that in the news they always show us an inaccurate view of a lot of countries... but the opening of this video is not what I expected Syria to look like at all. But i'm happy to see it 🙏🏻 love to see normalcy and everyday people going about their day
Your videos are so addictive. I don't know why. Expecting your next visit to srilanka. Hope your current visit will be a pleasurable experience. Good luck Davud.
What beautiful video, hope to visit one day. Thank you for explaining everything and Mostly how friendly the people. How to organise the travel arrangements and a tour guide.. country’s with beautiful history & cultures. Thank you again for the great video..
The best way to explore the country is to go by your self this is the adventure i went to several places in turkey solo by myself i went to istanbul the whole istanbul asia and avrupa side i went to kaş kuşadası mardın izmir :alaçatı- çeşme marmarıs her yerde and i learned the turkish language and i can say its fun it’s beautiful to explore each place alone and once you learn the language you will be able to live the local life…
Big thanks to you! i am so thrilled to see how resilient our Syrian friends are ! To see the good manner they have even after going through so horrible war. Syria used to be much richer than us chinese in terms of GDP Per Capita in 2010 (1,1000 usd V.S 4,000). It's also heartbroken to see how unfair they have been treated by the West! Syrian President has won the heart of chinese public during his visit to Hangzhou ,China. I would definitely like to hire some guide like her if i ever visit there. I've booked flight to Cairo next friday.
I was a tad late in watching your Syria series. But Iam sure it would be quite nice to see your episodes here. Best of luck. The electricity crisis seems to be a bit alarming. May this ancient country recover from their difficulties soon. Best wishes to your guide Marie, she has been really helpful.
You have beautiful guider, davud. Both of you looks so cute. Its nice to have girl guider rather than boy guider, looks more fun 😊😊 😊, Damascus before war was one of favorite city for tourists around the world in middle east. I have Never been visit this city, Its nice video to show us condition of Damascus now.
Hello Namaste my friend Davud. You are very friendly, kind and genuine person. I do really appreciate the way you treat people which is fascinating 👏👏🙏🙏❤️❤️

I would definitely be chilling in the hookah place, even if I don't understand Arabic, it's such an authentic and special vibe there. Just the décor alone is incredibly interesting to me
Thank you so much for taking us to nice Syria, you always taking a risk, but is not so dangerous as we think. Since they had a long civil war now the country is arising, nice people, nice environment in Damascus though it has no electricity. Wish you all the very best from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰❤ Take care 🙏

Sad to see what happened it was once beautiful
But why no protest in the streets of USA and Europe for the Syrian people?
@@treatseaweedmuch as I dislike all religions, the secular Assad dictatorship is mostly to blame for this colossal mess.
Never expected Syria to be this modern 😢❤so happy it is!
That's propaganda of Assad's dictatorship
