I suspect it was my comment about most well-regarded headphones being generally close to Harman that was referenced here. I should clarify that this comment was meant with respect to general level and shape of ear the gain above 1khz being closer to Harman than any other target, and not the rest of the tuning exactly - and those headphones certainly don't all match it in other areas, and they measure differently from one another. I also agree with Jude that those headphones in question do not sound the same, and that adherence to the Harman target is NOT the only indicator of 'good sound'.

The IE900 are the Holy Grail for your personal sound experience. I worked in pro audio for 20 years and I have never heard anything like it. You must try them.

A review of the IE600 would be very appreciated. as it is a middle ground between IE 300 and IE 900. There us nowhere a THD chart to be found of the IE 600.

it is a preference curve created from diffuse feild(pinnae compensation for iem) and room gain as starting point.

I loved the ie800, very petite and unassuming in appearance but they had huge soul. Sold my Shure 846's because they were too bulky. Comparing the two always felt like comparing Nascar to F1. Will have to pick up another pair before they are gone forever.

Very interesting how do they compare to the ie500 pro. Which I own and do find them nearly perfect sounding except 1,5-3,5 khz region that sounds well and smoothly but some kind of downcharged about 3-4 dbs
9.30- 9.45 is the reason to buy for me 👍🏻
How about it compare to ie800s. Worth to upgrade?
