The reason why you must avoid phantoms on fnaf 3 is because whenever you get jumpscared from them Springtrap moves and you will get an error ventilation which you must reboot it buying Springtrap some time to make a move again closer to you. Even it's Night 2 when you get jumpscared by a phantom, Springtrap 100% moves closer to you. Here are the ways to not get jumpscared by phantoms: Phantom Chicka - Look at cam 7 and check the tv if there's a black and white picture it means Chicka is ready to jumpscare you, the best counter is to not check cam 7 at all cost. Phantom Freddy - When you see him moving on the window the best way to do is ignore him by just checking the cams.
