I have watched all of your videos and like to comment once in awhile to say, you are an amazing artist. I very much enjoy watching you. I have no polymer clay, never have used it...but I love watching your videos. I never say I’ll never take up polymer clay, but right now, this is enjoyable enough!
Watched day 2 before day 1. So far I like #1 best. Very interested to see what you do over 30 days. Have a feeling it will be VERY difficult to choose just a few to win. Thank you again. Beautiful idea.
Wow!! This is a gorgeous effect. Love it a lot. Interesting effect when it goes black too. Lovely jewellery pieces. Looking forward to a month of crackles, one of my fave poly clay effects!! 🤗😊
My favorite tutor, Samantha 😊 Your creations are always exciting...and thank you for sharing your steps with us so we can also enjoy our progress as we learn. Have a great weekend 😊
What a lovely effect you created, Samantha. Love it! I just love watching you work. And the squarish doughnut shape is fantastic. Will be interested to try this with other colors. Looking forward to all the techniques you play with during your "Cracklathon"! Thanks!
Very informative video. I purchased Kroma Crackle about 2 years ago after seeing a piece done with it. I haven't experimented much with it, but my two issues with this product are that the crackles generally are bigger in scale than I want for jewelry and the crackles are essentially white. I mixed paint with the Kroma Crackle, but the edges of some of the crackles peeled. I assumed it was because of the paint. I liked the look of the crackle when you wet it with water and would like to maintain that in the final project. Anyway, I appreciate your many suggestions regarding this subject and I will be doing more investigation myself. I really look forward to this month-long series as crackled veneers are all the rage now.
Hi Samantha, just watched you crackle tutorial using the Karma Crackle and love the effect. Jyst one questuon, how did you achieve the different effects between the blue and the green samples? Thanks for all the great tutorials you put out. Live them.
Hi Jess! I’m watching your crackle thin day 2..... and you’re saying how reluctant you are to cut it cuz it looks sooo pretty! What if you make one of those large collar-in-pieces necklace with that veneer? It would be stunning!!! I love your work. 😉🥰👍❤️ ,
Hey Jess! I’m watching Beauty and the Beast again and I can’t get over how much you look like the pretty girl whop,Ass “Belle”! Can you sing too?! Lol! Just teasing..... but?.... you do look like her Emma Watson! She’s a cutie! 👍😉🥰❤️
Using a wet sealer on it such as resin or varathane should keep the darker effect. The blue came from the semi white opaque crackle curing over the black paint.
Oh dear, where did the morning go? I just watched all five of the cracklathon videos in one sitting. Then I made a purchase for some Renaissance Wax on Amazon. I went to your Etsy page, saw your picture and thought that you look like I did many years ago, at your age! I found the Kroma Crackle on dickblick.com. The price was better than Linda's Art Spot, if you are in the USA.. Amazon didn't have it.
The large crackles look like trees. Really beautiful veneer. Do you think it's OK to use the heat gun to dry the liquid clay or does it definitely need to be baked? Looks like it lost a lot of the blue after putting the wax on it. That's too bad, the blue gave it a lot of depth.
I'd bake the liquid clay as a heatgun would blow it around while curing. If you liked the blue try using a mix of black and dark blue paint under the crackle. :D
Fascinating how this works, turned out beautifully
the part when you add the black paint...so satisfying
Just love your work Samantha.
That’s a wonderful crackle project. Very exciting possibilities! Thank you so much!
This instruction for the crackle technique is very helpful! Your pendants turned out very beautiful! Thank you Samantha!
I'm insanely excited to follow you on this crackleathon! I love the crackle effects on Polymer clay so especially exciting. Thank you!!
Wow Samantha! Thank you for the 30 days of the Cracklathon. Sounds like fun! 😊

I love the cracklathon idea. Thank you for the great content!
I absolutely love this look thank you for all your hard work and dedication to us Samantha
Absolutely beautiful! Love the effect!!
So pretty! Perfect for the coming winter. Thank you! I think I will make my daughter a Frozen necklace with this background 👍☺
Very nice Samantha! I wonder if there would be a way to keep the black pattern showing after it got wet?. That was a very cool look too!
Try resin or a wet varnish. That should do the trick.
Sam, thank you, thank you! Love it!
C'est magnifique 👍👏 j'adore 😍
Loved it.
Beautiful
Thanks again Samantha. I have a bottle of liquid crackle somewhere, I'll try that and let you know the results.
It’s beautiful!! So glad to know how to use it
Very, very cool!!! It looks FROSTY ;)

Using an acrylic block to press on cutters helps make it a clean cut and total cut. Could you use UV resin instead of the wax to seal it?
I haven't tried UV resin on it yet. You'll want to test as you might get the same reaction that water had with it.
Love the look.
Hello from Germany....i love and enjoy all of your Videos . They are a cure for me. I have learned a lot of you. Keep going on...greetings
Cool effects! Is the bluish color a result of using black paint under the crackle?
Yes. The white is semi opaque and the black shows through as a light blue color.

Thankyou nice product
Love this
Very interesting
love the colours of this one, gonna check happy things again :D
So we should not paint paint sealer for acrylics which I like to use just wax?
What a great experiment. Is there any way to keep the darker effect? Where did the blue come from?
Using a wet sealer on it such as resin or varathane should keep the darker effect. The blue came from the semi white opaque crackle curing over the black paint.

In the US, you can get Kroma Crackle from Dick Blick

Interesting, but I didn't like how you lost the pretty blue at the end. Can't wait to check out the other crackle veneers.
The blue color is a result of the crackle medium and black paint?
Yes.
I think I missed something. The Kroma Crackle looked clear when applied but it looks like it dried blue?
It is clear when it's wet, but as it dries it goes semi white opaque. The black underneath the white look blue when this happens.
Great video, I cannot get Kroma crackle here, so I might try a different one.
Catherine Anderson I cant find it where I am either 🙁
Where do we buy those small size buffing wheels?
I sell them here. www.etsy.com/au/listing/633937925/rotary-tool-buffing-wheel?ref=shop_home_active_6&frs=1
These are cool! Could you seal it with uv resin instead of the renaissance wax?
I haven't tried UV resin on it yet. You'll want to test as you might get the same reaction that water had with it.
@@JessamaTutorials thanks 😊
I really like the techniques and would like to be added to your facebook group...
You’ve been a whirlwind lately!
Love it. Can't wait to see the other crackles coming since this is one product I don't own. That's rare. Lol
From you....sorry
