The larger rug definitely packs a punch, and I love the texture in the lamps. I agree 100% that changing your textiles and a few accessories can have a major impact on the vibe of a space. Mine certainly has changed a tremendous amount in the past seven years - now into rustic modern similar to what you prefer, but on a tighter budget at my house due to being a single mom for years. Warm is my favorite look brown honey hue furniture. Getting really hard to find a look that is not the studio McGhee look it just reminds me of a showroom and really cold and not lived in look. Your bedroom is beautiful. Most people go lighter for summer. But your bedroom just looks great. I currently don’t have curtains in my bedroom. I have blinds that came with the house. I have a curtain rod and some curtains. I just haven’t hung them yet. I have three dogs, who spend a lot of time by my bedroom windows. That’s where they go if anyone comes or leaves through my front door. I have a long dresser in front of the window. I have one dog who get up behind the dresser and sits in the window. The others just jump and bark. So I’m afraid to put the white curtains I have up. I’m afraid they will either get ripped down, or the dogs will get them filthy. So they’re still waiting to be put up.

Woww. Your house is the most beautiful home!! Your yard is gorgeous too!!! Amazing. How do you do it?? I have a 1/4 of an acre which is big in New York and redid my yard. With inground pool, swings & trampoline plus 3 kids it could never look that way!!! Lol.

It's a slow process.... just take your time and enjoy the process! My girls have their own playroom that they can blow up and have fun in..... but for the most part I keep a clean organized home. When my house is messy it really makes my head foggy. When things are clean it just makes me feel better. We all do our best!!!!! xoxoxo

I agree, i feel like we go neutral because we have no idea how to decorate.. once we feel comfortable decorating we tend to find our own style.. i have to say we have similar style.. your home is beautiful 🤩

Your bedroom is beautiful. Most people go lighter for summer. But your bedroom just looks great. I currently don’t have curtains in my bedroom. I have blinds that came with the house. I have a curtain rod and some curtains. I just haven’t hung them yet. I have three dogs, who spend a lot of time by my bedroom windows. That’s where they go if anyone comes or leaves through my front door. I have a long dresser in front of the window. I have one dog who get up behind the dresser and sits in the window. The others just jump and bark. So I’m afraid to put the white curtains I have up. I’m afraid they will either get ripped down, or the dogs will get them filthy. So they’re still waiting to be put up.

Woww. Your house is the most beautiful home!! Your yard is gorgeous too!!! Amazing. How do you do it?? I have a 1/4 of an acre which is big in New York and redid my yard. With inground pool, swings & trampoline plus 3 kids it could never look that way!!! Lol.
THANK YOU soooo much!!!! Girl it takes time. This house has taken me 4 years to furnish ( I'm not even done yet ). Our yard isn't finished yet. It's a slow process.... just take your time and enjoy the process!
My girls have their own playroom that they can blow up and have fun in..... but for the most part I keep a clean organized home. When my house is messy it really makes my head foggy. When things are clean it just makes me feel better. We all do our best!!!!! xoxoxo

Hi Alana! Thank you so much! I consider myself "rustic luxury". Mixing modern design (clean lines, marble) with rustic elements (wood, vintage). But I also just buy what I love. I try not to box myself too much into one style. I think a curated home is the best style in the end ... cause it's unique to each individual person!❤️

Hi!!! I actually used to. I would do one video a week that was vlogging and the another video that was more informative. No one watched the vlogs so I eliminated them from my channel. I actually enjoyed vlogging. It would be something I would reconsider if people would be into it ❤️
