Your bedroom is beautiful. Most people go lighter for summer. But your bedroom just looks great. I currently don’t have curtains in my bedroom. I have blinds that came with the house. I have a curtain rod and some curtains. I just haven’t hung them yet. I have three dogs, who spend a lot of time by my bedroom windows. That’s where they go if anyone comes or leaves through my front door. I have a long dresser in front of the window. I have one dog who get up behind the dresser and sits in the window. The others just jump and bark. So I’m afraid to put the white curtains I have up. I’m afraid they will either get ripped down, or the dogs will get them filthy. So they’re still waiting to be put up.

I notice you have windows on either side of your bed. I’m thinking of putting mirrors on either side of my bed above the night stands. What are your thoughts on that? I would also like to hang drapes, for decor purposes only, but there isn’t a ton of space between my wall and my end table. There may only be a few inches of space there. What are your thoughts on that? Also, do you suggest matching the curtains to the wall colour or the bedding? Thank you for your total honesty on the carpet tape!!! Hi!! Thank you so much for taking the time and commenting. To answer your questions below. Wall color is "alabaster white" Behr I love the idea of mirrors on either side of bed behind the nightstand. A tall elongated mirror would make the room appear larger and taller. We don't have a ton of space on the window by our bed. but hung them anyway. I say do it. Even if its for decor purposes only. No, I wouldn't match wall color and curtains. You want there to be depth. Even if its a shade different. This will add dimension. I have yet to see if it's damaged my wood floors.... but it's a hard no on carpet. My mistake and now I have to live with it. Luckily I love the rug.... and it's not going anywhere!!! I hope this information helps! xoxox

Warm is my favorite look brown honey hue furniture. Getting really hard to find a look that is not the studio McGhee look it just reminds me of a showroom and really cold and not lived in look. Hi!!! I actually used to. I would do one video a week that was vlogging and the another video that was more informative. No one watched the vlogs so I eliminated them from my channel. I actually enjoyed vlogging. It would be something I would reconsider if people would be into it ❤️

Warm is my favorite look brown honey hue furniture. Getting really hard to find a look that is not the studio McGhee look it just reminds me of a showroom and really cold and not lived in look. This look is very inviting and a updated traditional look which is what I am into . Love it finally inspiration I can actually use lol.

Hi Alana! Thank you so much! I consider myself "rustic luxury". Mixing modern design (clean lines, marble) with rustic elements (wood, vintage). But I also just buy what I love. I try not to box myself too much into one style. I think a curated home is the best style in the end ... cause it's unique to each individual person!❤️

I adore your decor style and it's interesting to see how it's changed over the past few years. Mine certainly has changed a tremendous amount in the past seven years - now into rustic modern similar to what you prefer, but on a tighter budget at my house due to being a single mom for years. You've convinced me that going forward, any furniture I purchase must have impact, and it's better to hold off buying anything until I can find the right pieces.
