Thank you so much Mandi darling for making these for my church, as you know, and now others will as well, they sold like hot cakes and make a lot of money for the church, they (the church folk) and myself were very very grateful. I love you my dearest Lolli Lulu or better known as Amanda the great crafter. Love and big hugs darling, mummi xxxxx
thank you but honestly I enjoyed it and it gave me some different ideas for projects for on here, due to the different perspective of having to bulk make, so it was a win win I say, love you xx
What lovely cards Amanda. I love those Hunkydory little books. I am hoping I can find them for next year. I have decided for next year I am making single layer cards as it was stressful to finish all my cards and to post them. I hope that too many friends would not feel slighted if I sent them a flat instead of multilayered as the postage was a big expense this year. I want to wish you a very Happy Holiday and to all the bloggers out there. I had my best gift already with the announcement I am going to be a great grandmother. I am sooooo excited. God Bless you all.
I put a load of links for this years books on my post, so it should tell you where you can buy them at least - they tend to change them up all the time and of course they do them now for all the collections all year around. But me I just like them best for this kind of card at Christmas. I dont think people would feel slighted you know, use the mirri -that def adds a little something something and Barbara below said that she adds some stickles to hers which again adds something, but easy to do but just makes it look that little bit more. Congratulations on your news so super happy for you, what a wonderful blessing for your family, big hugs and watch out for an extra video with my 'christmas message etc' this week, hugs xxx
Hi Amanda, great job there,I used these books last Xmas, only I added a wee bit of stickles to the snowy bits ,and on some ,die cut holly or Ponsettias, however that was just done for friends.Your way is much better for mass producing / selling, very good tip using just one piece of card stock for the back, wouldn't have thought of that.I have bought some of the new square books this year, however wasn't in the right frame of mind to make mine ,but next year definitely!! Thanks again for sharing ,you always have smashing ideas 😉😉😉lolXx
Thank you so much Barbara, and I think this way will work good for the square books as well. You can get the mirri mats packs for those ones too if you want to save yourself some effort. I have to say I was reluctant the first time I made these a few years back now, as I felt somehow it wasn't crafting. But then I realised two things, for christmas I need quick easy nice bulk cards and secondly the people buying don't think like that, they just see really nice cards at a good price. I love your idea of adding stickles and def will try that next year - if i remember I have a brain like a sieve lol! as I think that adds another dimension but no thickness, hugs to you lovely xxx
