I get the impression that this is a sentiment the Japanese are fond of in their media: however many the problems, however insurmountable they may seem at times, life is nevertheless a fundamentally wondrous thing. The Tale of Princess Kaguya propounded a similar thesis.
The subtle details man in the animation , mosquitos on the back of buffalo, the character animation, the ost . Everything feels like Life itself . It is going to be a beautiful an artistic Cinema
Beautiful pilot. I'm a huge fan of Princess Arete (it's one of my favorite anime movies) so I'm glad to see Mr. Katabuchi team up again with Akira Senjū, as well as get closer to a rounder character design. Good luck!

I would say Katabuchi is closer in style and intent to Takahata than Miyazaki, though very much his own director

It looks gorgeous. I love seeing scenes of nature and everyday life in animated form, it’s somehow more inspirational and magical.

どういう事ですか？マナー的な？
@@taea7754 アニメってやろうと思えば幾らでも手を抜ける。例えば一人一人を映すということも出来る。
お箸なんてものは、作画量がやばいので大抵の作品は、顔から上だけ映すとか普通にある。
そして、見て分かる通り、口パクじゃない。
5人同時に体動かして。というのは、誤魔化しに逃げずに、作画量をこなしている。ということ。
且つ二人(夫婦?)は会話してるから、動きを会話としてシンクロさせる必要が有る。
それでも納得が難しいようでしたら、自分で描いてみることをおススメします。
描いてみるという行動力が、自然と尊敬や賞賛に変わると思います。
