Kathy I love that you share your talent with us. Instead of just showing this creation, you’re sharing the instructions. I have yet to make an album although I keep collecting the materials. I remember scrapbooks and autograph nooks from when I was a kid but I just can’t seem to understand the purpose of today’s albums and journals. It doesn’t stop me from watching all the videos and buying I all the supplies. In the meantime, I love the quarterly kits subscription, One is on the way to me right now. I’m blown away by what you pick into those kits. Thanks 🙏🏽 for ALL you do! ❤

You are such a sweet soul! I'm glad you are enjoying the kits, because I am really enjoying putting them together. As far as mini albums...I don't make them so much for photos. I think of them as art books. Something to take down and enjoy with a cup of tea. Drink in the colors, the story that the album tells, enjoy the beautiful images and just slow down and breathe for a bit. I want to start incorporating more lines of verse and quotes to really make them tell a story, and I may start that process with this album. Thanks so much for sharing your delightful thoughts with me!

Kathy, Thank you for sharing this gorgeous treasure and for supplying links to all of the needed supplies. I ordered using your links which made it so easy and stress free! I will definitely be making this project. The Covid shutdown opened up and whole new crafting world to me via You tube videos. I've been paper crafting mini books and journals for 3 years. Thank you for your very inspiring tutorials!

@@colleenqueen3915 This happens every once in a while...not sure why, but all of a sudden I'll find a bunch of older comments that seem to have appeared out of nowhere. I'm so glad you found the cardstock. It's crazy how difficult it is to find certain colors now. Have fun making your album! Hugs!

I do like making my own albums and signature pages, then when I give as gifts the recipient is amazed that I did it.😊 I do use wet adhesive but also use score tape. Glad you are feeling better. Love this paper collection.

Thanks, Lila! Yes, I use a combo of wet/dry adhesives, too. Seems to work best for me. I think we will have fun with this series. Starting to feel better every day now. Just have to get my voice sorted out! More hot tea! LOL Hugs!

I always create my own mini album covers...I like that I can control the size. I used to cut my double sided tape with scissors, then I noticed your technique of tearing along the edge of a stamp block...so much easier! I've learned, the hard way, that you are right about installing the hinges with liquid glue...I've had tape release over time. Though I am a well seasoned album maker, I have learned from this informative, easy to follow and understand video...thank you, Kathy!! I'll be working on 2 albums in the near future...my work will be more efficient as I employ what I have learned from this tutorial. Continue to make yourself well. Looking forward to your next video!
