I just subscribed to this channel yesterday to see a video for React frontend as I write backend in fast API as an AI engineer. About the internship there were a lot of contradictions (firstly why wasn't he talking about the stack) like why was he doing data analysis at the end when he already cleaned the data. Then he said he solves important problems and creates systems and algorithms that gives company a leverage in AI age, and lol he describes invoice scanning that is done by AI, I worked for a company once where I was doing such thing, my part was NLP, because google API or other have APIs to get text from image or pdf or whatever it is, then you apply NLP to get the data from it, and there is no accuracy involved, we use the metric called semantic similarity (it depends what metrics you want use for it, cosine similarity is the basic one, using transformer embeddings is state of the art). And finally for god's sake why wasn't he talking about the stack, if you worked with AI your first response to such stack question should be huggingface, pytorch, transformers etc. not python. State of the art AI is done in python mostly, and for the fast running code fragments, we use wrappers of C++ or Rust. Just writing it out so, non AI or ML guys should get skeptical about the person's credibility.

@@apurvaxyz Hello! Well firstly you seem, to be very confused. Writing backend development servers aren't the primary job an ML/AI engineer, it depends on what company you are working for. Every company uses a different stack, so its not mandatory to know Java or springboot. You need to figure out what you want to do, as you said you are focused on Data Analytics. Writing servers or deploying models is not your job, that should be your last priority of skills. In Data Science if you want to be a Data Scientist or AI/ML engineer ML ops should be the last thing typically you should learn, which requires python scripting mostly. I write in FastAPI because we are flexible (and no need to use other language when python can do it), and for fast running code, Rust wrapper can be used. So, decide what you want to become.
