      The build seemed to take forever but that’s because of all my yaking. I had to break it up into three parts but felt it would be a good source for people building this plane.

    Awesome tips enjoyed the video. My ASW-17 arrived today I have invested in a AR637T and a Avian 60 amp Esc . I intend to go catch thermals on a near by mountain top and see just how long I can stay aloft. Got a portable warming tent and plan to run a 4s3200 smart pack . I did receive the Just Plane Crazy Logos you sent and will duplicate more of them for my Tool boxes/ flight pack/ Plane stands/ storage units. Thank You Very Much Perfect size. 👍 Enjoyed watching and looking forward to the next video.
    Thanks for sharing ✔👍🤠⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🎥🎬✌🗽🎸🎸🎸

      So cool with the thermals. All u need to add is the telemetry converter so you can see mah used. Thanks as always for watching and the kind words

    Super cool indeed, I wish I had the time build from start to finish, but I don't so they take us a lot longer for sure😎

    Watching you drill the elevator control horn spot with the regular Dewalt drill reminds me of something I’ve wanted for a long time - a small, light hobby size cordless drill. Maybe just a 1/4” chuck, if that. Just enough to drill soft wood, just big enough to fit the hand and light weight. I’ve searched online a few times, but aside from a chuck on a Dremel, found nothing close. Any ideas?

      Check out this link. Micro market has all kinds of small cool hobby stuff. I could have opted for a longer drill bit also.

    I found a product at my local hobby shop that I didn't know existed, Its called CA "UN-CURE". and it does work,just need to allow some time once applied. Also may have to reapply. The D W Stearman looks so good. Im almost ready to click. lol

    Fantastic video loaded with great tips! Glad I got held up on mine. Just waiting for Bobby to send some screws that were short in my package. QUESTION ❓❓❓ Did you use heat on the main gear fairings where they contact the fuse to get a nice clean fit. It looked like there were some gaps after the install. I have some slight space in-between screws and I hope that a little heat will help the plastic to conform to the fuse. Thanks again for all the great tips looking forward to the next part. Oh and how are the wires done on the tail?

    • @JustPlaneCrazy
      @JustPlaneCrazy  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was missing some small screws also. Mainly because I used too many on the fairings. If needed go to www.RTL fasteners.com use my code JPC30 and save 30% on orders over $50. But it looked much better. LIGHT HEAT on the fairing will help to mold them. I use that tricks on windshields, fairings anything that’s that thin plastic or Lexan.

    • @JustPlaneCrazy
      @JustPlaneCrazy  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Jerry also the flying wires on the tail are done with string. As soon as I have the knot tight enough i wick in a drop of ca into it

    • @jerrywillfong5770
      @jerrywillfong5770 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@JustPlaneCrazy Thanks I noticed you had the heat gun out and was guessing that was the reason. I should be getting some more screws from Bitgo today or tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up on RTL I need to get a couple assorted sets from them.

    • @jerrywillfong5770

      I also commented on a later reply to u about the flying wires. The rear are just string. Wick ca into the knot

    I've started build mine and first issue is the landing gear fairing isn't shaped to fit the fuselage very well. Did you have this problem?

    • @JustPlaneCrazy
      @JustPlaneCrazy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Just take a heat gun and SLIGHT HEAT. Warm it up and shape.

    Please slow down the frame rate on your lapse time video. Everything goes by too quickly. Even crawling with the pause button doesn't allow careful inspection. I really admire your diligence and build approach. Very useful techniques.

    I order the 1400mm version of this plane and it arrived damaged 2 weeks ago. It's been radio silence from Bitgo Hobby about sending a replacement part. I've called, emailed, used their chat, etc. and have received no communication for two weeks. I would not recommend this company.

  • @rafaeltorres2886
    @rafaeltorres2886 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    This ain't no PNP its an ARF
    PNP two hours max for assembly an ARF 4 hours plus because all the assembly that needs to be done like installing control horns wires flying wires gluing wing halfs together , landing gear and motor mount assembly etc I call that an ARF.

    • @JustPlaneCrazy
      @JustPlaneCrazy  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s a new pnp in the sense everything is included in the kit. It’s a new form of branding for balsa arfs. Now you also see them from HH.
