    😯 ooo the clay towers are so unique. Interesting that each of em have the tree 🌳 growing on top. Makes sense that it was man made. Something you'll see everyday with the camels running around.

      Yeah, this place was a strange find. I guess camels here are like what sheep are to NZ, and Kangaroos to Australia.

    Next time you go to Umm Bab beach, as you approach the end of that "downhill" paved road, instead of taking a left try taking a right. The beach on the right side is so nice 😁 no trees though! Just clear waters and beautiful sand

      Thanks for the tip Mohammed! I saw a video of this spot you mention on the camping in Qatar group a couple of days after our visit. Looks beautiful! We'll have to go back to check it out.

      @TheWorldnUs  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there! Yes, you can easily get to the location with a sedan and see the clay towers from the entrance. However you do need a 4WD to explore the quarry. Hope that helps!! Please share with your friends 😄

    Crazy to see camels roaming in the wild! I just considered them to be domesticated.

    • @TheWorldnUs
      @TheWorldnUs  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Very cool right! I think these camels might have been somewhat domesticated. There were a few camel farms around so I think these guys might have been heading home.

      @@TheWorldnUs where and what time did you spot them? I wanna go, just to see them roaming like that!

    Is that an Osmo Pocket 1 or 2? Curious how you're connecting the wireless mic to it.

    • @TheWorldnUs
      @TheWorldnUs  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Lin. It is the Pocket 2. It comes with it's own wireless mic and connects just by switching on. Super easy. But when we first got it there were some issues with interference. It seems DJI have done some updates which has fixed this.
      The mic is a bit bulky. We can connect a lav mic to it and use it as a transmitter. Haven't tested that out yet though. The mic is pretty good at blocking out wind noise so happy to keep using as is for now.

      @linnyunt 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TheWorldnUs Ah, cheers. I have the 1st gen Pocket. But I hardly use it for vlogging. The wireless mic feature is pretty cool considering all these point and shoot cameras have bad on-board mics.

    i live in the Sonoran Desert in Arizona, US. Our water comes from snowmelt and runoff from the western flank of the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and underground wells. Where does your drinking water come from? and household water supply ? i wondered how those isolated trees get water

    • @TheWorldnUs
      @TheWorldnUs  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are no rivers or lakes in Qatar. All the water comes from desalination plants. It's quite incredible really.

    Hi can we access the area with Honda CRV?

    • @TheWorldnUs
      @TheWorldnUs  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Maybe? I don't know much about the car. If it's 4WD you'll be ok. If not, you'll have to be careful in some parts that have soft sand.

  • @leaveittolefty

    are the camels we see here wild? free range?

    • @TheWorldnUs
      @TheWorldnUs  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would say they belong to someone. There were a few properties in the area that had groups of camels in pens.
