    You could try slitting the existing noodles lengthwise and slip (and perhaps glue) the noodle pieces on the 1" dia pipe sections.
    I like the way you originally designed, then modified your cart!

      Good point Don. After some forcing I did manage to get the noodles on. It’s still holding up to this day.

    I made something for scupper hole kayak cart but was using wheels and shaft from a dolly. Saw your wheels and i have some like that on an old golf cart collecting dust. Think mine is 1" pvc as well and it did break as well. Was trying to find some Schedule 80 pvc in 1" as it is stronger but the cost made it not worth it.

      I recently cost out PVC parts to make an alternative design based on a 450lbs capacity cart. However with the higher prices of PVC today, I’d only save about $20 on the cost of the original cart, and that’s before glue and hardware costs.
