This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my TH-cam channel 9 months ago about self development. Now I have 1,572 subs and > 1,000 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.
Hi Georgia, I’m so happy for your realisation. Your retreat reminds me of a transformative course I took many years ago…it’s called Asiaworks…similar to Landmark in the U.S. It’s about knowing yourself better and maximising your potential…I benefited a lot from the course and I’m grateful to have attended it. I’ll like to say that I have reservations on those eastern practices..and I believe there’s only one God that we can always communicate to :)

Was doing a 'yoga with Adriene' video once a week. Decided to try a 30 day challenged, expecting it to be really hard/that I would struggle to do it. Currently on Day 21 (albeit with 1 day off a week) and I have just been Loving it. I wake up ready and keen and excited to do my morning yoga before work (whereas before I was struggling and dragging myself out of bed after snoozing my alarm). Honestly can't believe the difference has made to my life, and never ever thought I would be a 'daily yoga' person. But, likely give myself a little break but then am keen to just restart a new '30 day challenge' again. :)
My Q for you Georgia would be, do you think it took you (a lot, or perhaps just a little bit) out of the experience because you were documenting it?
I would have been well out of my comfort zone doing that. Good on you!!

Glad u enjoyed ur time at the retreat, looked fantastic. If u go back again, and do the tasks tht make u vulnerable, try not to suppress ur emotions. I know u mentioned u cried in private but in that moment, whilst doimg those tasks that make u feel vulnerable, u need to release those emotions immediately, then and there. Plz dont feel im critiquing u, bc tht is not my intention. I work in this industry and know tht releasing those emotions then and there, is cathartic but Im also aware that it is hard to cry and be vulnerable in front of ppl.

Only God can reset your emotional n spiritual self, nothing else will. We tend to look to other avenues but they are nothing but temporary "fill in" that dont last. We are made to have a relationship with God, without Him we will always be lose n without direction. Seek Him n your life will be fulfilling.
