The TV debate was an "absolute disaster", remarks former director of the United States Domestic Policy Council and assistant to Trump Joe Grogan, while Karin Robinson from Democrats Abroad says she was disappointed in President's performance.

In Australia neither of these two would have stayed at the top of their parties without getting shafted. I used to think the way Australia turns over its leaders at the slightest smell was a bad thing, but it prevents this follow the leader over the cliff mentality that the US has.

Both of the Canidates were pathetic. They could not stay on point throwing accusations at each other. The people of the US expect clear and concise communication from the Canidates. This is just plain old sad. These parties are just playing games we want a person who can think for themselves and know what the people want not a puppet to the party. The democratic party didn't even give us another choice to vote for another democratic Canidate. It is the people's choice not the parties. They could have at least put an independent in the debate but than that is CNN and the Canidates fear of losing to someone they can't control. I am a Democrat Citizen I won't be voting for either one of them.
