  • Apple CEO Tim Cook says he worries that people will become “restrained” and begin thinking and behaving differently as they lose their sense of privacy in a world where digital devices and technology become more and more adept at tracking their movements.
    “I fear deeply the loss of privacy,” he told TIME executive editor John Simons Tuesday at the TIME100 Summit. “If we begin to feel that we’re being surveilled all the time, our behavior changes. We begin to do less. We begin to think about things less. We begin to modify how we think. In a world like that where we’re restraining ourselves, it changes society in a major way.”

    I respect Tim Cook because he wants to help people to keep their privacy safe then other people know your private life. Tim Cook wants people to feel safe while using technology not feeling like you being watch. Tim Cook put his privacy to the side to just help one person. Tim Cook is helping people keep their privacy a secret.

    I WISHED Apple would banned Games with loot boxes.
    There are countries doing this, it would be nice to see Google and Apple joining together to Stop game developers from exploiting the consumers with gambling practices.
    “Diablo Immortal” is the latest example that this is getting out of hand in the States.

      @Files LOL right right.
      How about NO, and they put some regulations to avoid companies from preying on people who suffer from gambling addictions. Mobile games are not CASINOS and these practices are hidden under the software code to make you spend more money. People who studied the Code on Diablo Immortality figured out how many gems it would take for the one you want to appear. Its not about luck or anything, it is like this by design and this is PREDATORY.
      The store providing the space for these companies need to take action just like STATE regulations in other countries are doing so.
