If you are a wig / weave wearer, you've heard of THE HAIR DIAGRAM. This video is an HONEST review on the NEWEST lace glue released by the THE HAIR DIAGRAM. Unlike the other two lace glues they sell, this one is SILICONE BASE, and when I tell you it's like super glue... GIRL!
Just watch the entire video and you'll see what I mean. This glue is the BEST!. It's a bit messy to work with so when you are applying it, make sure to use another tool such as the end of a rat tail comb or a popsicle stick (like I did).
Apparently there will be pumps coming out for this glue in the future, but until then, work with what you got. I have been a user of the BOLD HOLD products for going on 3 years now and I continue to be impressed with their products. I started with the Original Bold Hold Extreme Cream, then upgraded to the Bold Hold Active, and finally, I've met my perfect match in the BOLD HOLD MAXX!

Thank you so much for this review! I’ve been using Ghost Bond Platinum and having tons of issues with it holding. I’ve heard ghost bond and bold hold active are pretty similar and wanted to try the new silicone based adhesive to see if it would work better. I just ordered tonight and it should be here Wednesday. I can’t wait to see your update on how it wears!! Also, you are a great personality for the camera, you’ve got a new sub :) ❤️❤️❤️

How long did it last for you and were you able to wet it without lifting?
I only leave my wigs on for a week at a time so at the end of the week it hadn't lifted. I also did not get it fully wet in the shower but it did get kind of damp when i washed my face everyday
The hardest part is preventing it from getting wet or oily in the first 24hr

How long does it stay on?
Depends on how u prep your skin, how long u let it set b4 applying ur lace and how many layers you add
how many layers did you do ? and how long did you wait before you laid your lace down ?
I did 1 layer & waited about a minute. I've since re-layed my wig so i still suggest only 1 layer but wait about 2 minutes to lay the lace down. & do it in sections
@@ConnieTrujillo thank you, babe, i appreciate the video yours looks good I just noticed with mine i got like residue and white cast around my hair line.. so i just wanted to see how yours held up and how it applied
@@_CherryKay the white cast is from oil so if ur using ur fingers to apply ur wig, make sure u clean them w. Alcohol
How do you remove the glue that is left on the lace frontal?
I take the bold hold glue remover and spray it on the lace, leave it on for like an hour and then use a dry washcloth to take it off. Doesn't take a lot of rubbing bc it balls up after the remover does its thing

After using the glue in this video, i haven't looked back. I got the nozzle too now and it is sooooo much easier to apply
I'm perfect for reviewing this because I'm perimenopausal (hot flashes), I'm just now getting back into working out, and truly bald due to a chemical accident 13 years ago. Cant wait to tell you all about it
Ok. I know it has only been 24 hours but my hot flashes are real harsh on glue. Let me tell you, I was able to put my wig in a high ponytail. I felt the tension on the ponytail like you would feel with your real hair. So far so good. I'm so excited about this product yes yes yes
Ok I think this is day 4, but this is the first day I wet the whole wig in the shower. Now let's see hold the glue holds true.i will say I've had this wig in high ponytails and I've had to loosen the edges because the glue is holding up very well. Do you know what this means, in the summer I can actually sweat and not have to check my wig placement every minute. So thankful so far
Well the water destroyed the bond it had. The back has completely lifted ☹

That was done wrong. One pass and laying it down while still wet is going to damage the unit. AND she made it very clear NOT to get it on your hair at all...... I will support but this was wrong.
Hey girl hey, this is bold hold maxx & i didn't get it on my hairline and i only used one application
ColourBrights I see where it did get into your hairline. I have Bold hold Max as well. Just watch the owners video. You did one pass and within 30 seconds stuck the lace and hair into the glue while it was still wet. I am saying this because you are going to damage your wigs AND your own hair if you keep doing it this way. The last thing you want is your wig to look like a “wig”. I would just have a professional install your units going forward love. You can’t teach people how to install if you yourself are not following the instructions Bold Hold provides you with. Raven Douglas however you feel love. This is TH-cam and I stated my opinion having dealt with this bonding process. But she can do as she pleases. Good luck to you as well.

Torri Raine she did have a thin nude cap on. Which is perfect. The only issue was she never allowed the the glue to set for the appropriate time. She let it set for like a minute or 2 and pressed it down. It wasn’t set yet. That was my concern love. The glue should feel like it is almost dry with a bit of stickiness.... then it is perfect to mash the lace into it with a rat comb or dry non-oily utensil. It won’t bond to the hair but it will grip that lace like a crazy jealous girlfriend. Lol! Like I said, I just wanted her to know how to get the best results with this product AND help with the longevity of her wig...... those are expensive girl....... well..... the real ones. 🤗
