I worry about leaving poison on the ground, but I can understand that we were desperate. Bullets seem less indescrimatory and safer to me.

I'm reminded of the permaculture principle, "The problem is the solution." It would have made way more sense for the farmers to just eat the rabbits than putting all that effort into establishing a pasture for sheep. The amount of rabbits killed with poison alone would have filled 3 freezers.

I like that way of thinking, however, maybe there was no market demand for rabbit meat and rabbit hide.

@Raihan Iftekhar Well, who said anything about "only eating that"? And the fact that they are "always there" (which may or may not be true) isn't a bad thing, since one always has to eat again and again.

one of the stupidest things the coloniests did was to bring 12 rabbit (that's true, only 12 rabbits) and set them free, bc they reminded them their original homes. Rabbits are impossible to eliminate and cause erosion and destruction endangering the primitive species. Their meat anyhow, is delicious

@@Bork_Cruk nope, just to blow off steam! You see,I would have never done anything bad to a tiger or especially tiger cub:they are noble and anyway worth respect plus I am going to get a Siberian tiger cub myself and raise him as a family member and hunting comrade as well as my grandad did quite long ago!And I don't fear of this creature at all, although obviously I will not come to cuddle newborn cubs in front of their mother in the middle of nowhere in the wild, but my tiger will live with me with no any cages or fences between us,and I will anyway teach him or her to hunt for prey as well as grandad taught his tiger Neron, making him even better hunter than his wild counterparts!Yet when it comes to bunnies and rabbits that is a vastly different story:they actually disgusted me since the early childhood! And that is because they are the most stupid and are representing the very quintessence and the very definition of the word "pathetic",and knowing how multiple these pathetic squeaking creatures are and how in some places they are just hell of a vermin that is impossible to wipe out with our chemical and viral weaponry as was proven in Australia and even theoretically it's gonna be impossible to eliminate these cunts with nuclear weapons at least they will outlast fucking roaches and rats in nuclear war or anything else!So I actually don't think that killing them in any way possible or preferred is not a big deal!So I get my rifles sighted well on feral rabbits,I managed to educate myself by experimenting with poisons and acids on these and will once, when my tiger cub will reach about 6 months of age I will educate him or her to hunt for prey by giving live only rabbits and bunnies to devour alive and get experience!Plus as the first kill for a tiger becomes that tiger's favourite meal and toys-this will be an excellent variant for my big striped orange assassin/comrade to serve as a treat!Just because imagine the smaller animals-those will eventually be too little nutritional value for the cat and also I doubt that a 300+ kilograms killing machine will be interested in running after something that he or she will have a hard time catching just physically with canines since it will fit between them(which will be actually hilarious as fuck)-so as for example if we look at some foxes or anything like that-those will be hard to get, expensive and actually pity to destroy especially in large numbers! So with everything in mind the most suitable for tiger cub to be his or her first kill will anyway be rabbits and bunnies:They are easiest animal to get, available in any numbers, and not only just not pity to see them devoured alive by my (future) gorgeous huge feline friend, but actually satisfying to see for example skinned alive by his paws and teeth and squeaking in a small puddle of it's own blood, squeaking until some point..at which the encouragement from a kitty will wake it up to resume this squeaky and crunchy show for both of us!So they will get yet another useful application for me,or actually for my future animal friend to be precise! As well as any other usage for them it will also obviously be coming with it's suffering and death but actually all the uses for these pathetic squeaking creatures both natural and artificial will be related to their death and suffering or will come out of it's death and suffering!

I've adopted numerous rabbits over many years...they are sweet, social mammals...Humans (mostly men)...come up with destructive, ridiculous, solutions... Why not turn the overpopulation into an economic opportunity ? Find markets or create markets for rabbit meat, fur, manure...I don't like exploiting other mammals for any reason, except when they naturally overpopulate to the point they cause great difficulty for humans and other species to manage basic survival in the same region...I'm interpreting this video as expressing desparate conditions...
Instead, they created poisons that polute the environment, and make it risky to eat any rabbit..and a virus that causes suffering ( and death)...and spend money on walls....
    From Wikipedia..
The vaccine is not allowed to be used in Australia because the live virus in the vaccine has the potential to spread into the wild rabbit population which could result in wild rabbit immunity to myxomatosis.[16] If this happened, there would be a dramatic increase in the number of wild rabbits in Australia, which would cause major damage to the environment and economic losses.[16]Many pet rabbits in Australia continue to die from the disease due to their lack of immunity.[17][18] There is at least one campaign to allow the vaccine for domestic pets.[19]
In the UK a live combination vaccine, Nobivac Myxo-RHD, made by MSD Animal Health, has become available since 2011.[20] Its active ingredient is a live myxoma-vectored RHD virus strain 009 and it offers a duration of immunity of 1 year against both RHD and myxomatosis.[21]
