Inside WinUAE the drawbridge might be slightly faster although you probably wouldn’t notice. If you’re only using Amiga disks then drawbridge is fine, if you want to archive other system disks then Greaseweazle is a better option
A very short note because my first tries didn't work right away. If you are using existing WinUAE profiles the floppy speed should definitely be reseted to 100%. I still had 800% in it because this works wonderful fast with adf files. Not a problem of Robs video, he started with a new profile. But maybe it's helpful for one or the other.
Can you use two drives in Greaseweazle or will it be supported in the future? If I try to set up the second drive it says that the board is already in use. Going ahead having only set up one, it thinks that both drives are the same drive and Workbench gets confused and doesn't try to read anything until there's disks in both drives and fails.
Amazing, just had a quick glimps at your story so far, WoW some work and effort gone into this, Kudos to you.
Thank you
Great video thanks Rob.
It works well.
I thank you!
Hi Rob,
In practice you can read the floppy disk via Winuae, as if it were a real Amiga?
That’s correct!
Love your work, Rob. Are the Greaseweazle and DrawBridge about equal performance-wise when reading disks with WinUAE?

Does Greaseweazle also work on Dosbian?
No idea, first I’ve heard of DOSbian - hmm interesting

At some point I plan to add this, but for now you’d need two boards. It’s just a little more complex to make it work with a single board
@@RobSmithDev That's cool! Thanks for your work Rob x
