It's not edible. I believe it is listed as toxic. The idea of the video is to dig the roots to sell and make money not eat. Although some of the roots I cover are edible, it would make more sense to sell the roots and go buy other sources of food.
We found a 5 pound hen of the woods last weekend
Keep your eyes peeled for fall hen of the woods when your out there!
I always keep an eye out but never find any. I did however find some coral mushrooms a few days ago video coming soon!
