Those are gross no more asian squat toilets please, they should be ban they spread bacteria because dont have a lid and often gross cuz people cant aim
I started doing this at work because as it turns out its one of several naturally useful positions to take when digging through dirt and putting in stakes and measuring.
I have been doing something similar. I don't really push any specific amount of time though, I just started sitting and stretching like that every day or picking up things in a deep squat too, because when you get use to it, the stretch feels great. I also like to do 35 fast deep squats before I go to sleep. + doing all kinds of yoga stretches. When you get used to have a body that don't feel tight anymore you never want to go back. It feels so good and the more you learn to stretch out properly the more you find.....you would not believe where you can stretch your body out and the benefits it brings. It is a whole journey of itself, parallel to this whole workout journey we are all on. If you want to take it don't miss out on adding some mediation also. Eating well, working out, stretching properly and meditations and much more. If I has any idea how good I could feel I would have started so much sooner. But as it is for most, I had to break myself first to learn and develop the discipline and knowledge of what I needed to be healthy and how to feel really good naturally.
Is this a really odd way of trying to stroke your ego by letting everyone know that you have good squat depth by feigning ignorance to common mobility problems?
I was walking at work on flat ground just about to go home when my ankle just decided to turn 90 degrees or more. It hurt at first, but went away after a little bit. Thank goodness for my ankle flexibility.
I love your content. Really opened my eyes towards movement and avoiding injury while working out. Would love to get assessed by you but I'm from a different country unfortunately. Love the India jacket too!
Mobility and flexibility mainly. Very beneficial to maintain knee strength and flexibility as you age to be able to keep bending and getting up from the ground.
From 29 to 41 I had unbelievable lower back pain and could not pin point the cause. Tried stretches, chiropractor, acupuncture, deep massage, electric stimulation, nothing worked. Saw a video about deep squatting and how it stretched the hips, lower back, and thighs like nothing else could. After TWO WEEKS of deep squatting for 5 minutes a day the pain is GONE. It was a life changer 🙌🏼❤️💪🏼
I can finally do this in a deep squat, calf touching hamstring, but my tibia muscles (shins) definitely feel very tight. Next goal is to stretch out my shins and calves under load to lengthen and strengthen them.
Started doing ugly rock bottom squat holds for two minutes. Worked up to a full depth, full squat on a slight incline for 2 minutes. Now doing weighted to further enhance ankle stability/mobility.
At my highest weight i was 489 pounds and could deep squat with my feet flat, its always so weird to me seeing skinny people struggle with it. Btw i can still do it now at 350 just for much longer periods of time.
Ya its a dizzy feeling right? When u come up come up slowly but keep your chin to your chest looking down until your all the way up then slowly level your head u won't get that feeling anymore
Tighten your core and keep your head up. Tighting the core allows the hip flexors to function better. And look up buttwink it’s when your pelvic rotates and that can cause what you’re going through. “COULD BE” but may not be the solution depending on factors.
hey @SquatUniversity !! just out of curiosity why are ypu wearing that jacket with Indian flag?? are you in India rn?? if yes then would love to meet you🥺❤️
I was trying to remember the guy doing a mobility TH-cam video while on line at Disney world. Kelly was too early trying to gear his mobility videos for the CrossFit era.
As an Arab it's totally normal to squat that deep and we do it multiple times during a day cause it's ours Way of using the toilet and some time like that for no reason just talking or chilling
Meanwhile every African back home can chill like this for hours
It’s wild people struggle with this when this is how humans are actually supposed to sit lol
Not wild when you have had patellar tendinitis for 6 years as an 18 in contact sports

Same thought 😊
On my 30s still going strong because i need to shit everyday 😅
The Indian flag jersey in a deep squat video.

I am an Indian, so I don't need to give a separate time to it. I do it everyday in the Morning/Night.....😂
Stopped at, "I started doing", got in same deep squat position, then watched the rest of the video. 😂

Love the jacket sir 🫡❤️
I’ve never done 5 minutes, but I love to stretch that way. I’m going to try it, excited actually.
Asian in the house 😎😎
I didn't know this was something people struggled to do
Westerners have a very hard time with this. Especially Americans since we do not do this for any reason. Our Achilles is not stretched at all
Germans cant do it either. Thats where someone pointed out me doing it and struggling lol@blanketparty5259
I’m American and I also didn’t know people struggled to do this until I saw a similar short from this channel
@@gatorman00 Yep, vast majority of people in the west cannot do this comfortably

that is normal sitting position of all asian when we are outside of our home with our friends 😂😂😂
Quite difficult to start this. I recommend trying in a jacuzzi on the step. It’s a start! And still has very similar benefits.
Bruhhh, I grew up pooping like that 😂😂😂
Same
So we do it more than five minutes a day 😂
Its our daily morning Indian Squat😂

as a indian man iam do daily mrng in toilet. ..🙏 iam proud to say..😊
As an eastern european, I ended up lucking out in this department
I would do this during downtime at a retail job, coworkers would call me spider man or say filapinos do that lol
People usually sit like this at the country toilets😂
I do this at big city toilets. 🤮
Every indian in the morning.
A nice practice is to use one large or two smaller but identical books. Everyday "remove" a page and once the book is finished you're at base level.
Cool, shout out to Kelly Starrett.
I watched all of his stuff and learned alot from that mobility-king back in the day.
I can finally do this in a deep squat, calf touching hamstring, but my tibia muscles (shins) definitely feel very tight. Next goal is to stretch out my shins and calves under load to lengthen and strengthen them.
Love and Respect from India.
Duuude get this elevator slipknot outta my head bro
It took a while for me to get it! 😂😂😂😂
Indians sit like this daily 2-3 times atleast 15-20mins depending on diet, game or content they watching😂

What was the remix of that slipknot track?
I found it! Bearamic- duality
It's call indian squat 🌝😁
im a cycliat, my calves dont allow me to sit like this, the circulation cuts off and my legs go numb
What does being a cyclist have to do with this?

I can't do that. Every time I come back up my BP drops crazy low. Like 70's over 40's. My normal is 120's/80's
Ya its a dizzy feeling right? When u come up come up slowly but keep your chin to your chest looking down until your all the way up then slowly level your head u won't get that feeling anymore
Is it beneficial even if you have buttwink in the deep squat position ?
japanese do that daily. especially in urban areas.
Plus Indian and south east Asian.
I can sit like this just fine. But it’s when I try to incorporate this depth into a get-up/or squat, that my knee is screaming!
I do it while I brush my teeth
My low back starts to round at the bottom of my deep squat. Any suggestions?

Starting this tonight!
Wearing an Indian flag and squatting is wild
lmao
I don't have a kitchen table so I prepare everything on the ground and sit like this while cooking 😅
I have a very low table to do side stuff :)
I squat ATG a lot everyday, it's just comfy. I have some slavic genes, maybe that's why :D
As an indian i can stay in that position for hrs 💀💀
That handsome guy squatting with the coffee & phone is my idea of exercise, I think a can manage that 10 minutes every 4 days out of a week.
As Asian. I do this everyday. Shoutout to my squat wc
hey @SquatUniversity !! just out of curiosity why are ypu wearing that jacket with Indian flag?? are you in India rn?? if yes then would love to meet you🥺❤️
If I have buttwink, should I stop my squat where the buttwink starts or go all the way and set there anyways?
So who is watching this in a deep squat now too? 👋🏾👀
I was trying to remember the guy doing a mobility TH-cam video while on line at Disney world. Kelly was too early trying to gear his mobility videos for the CrossFit era.
Kelly Stirrett authored a great book, how to be a supple leopard 🐆
I tend to do this randomly, just without proper form (tip toes)
didn't know that this common Filipino resting position is a workout lol
Asian be like : we don't do that here 🗿
Anybody know where i can get this song?
Slipknotevator music?
You cannot kill what you did not create 💃🪇
Do you want to be bracing your core lightly and keeping your back strait or since you are just resting is it ok to butt wink?
Ive sat like this my whole life. Not saying much since im only 22 but my parents used to complain about me sitting like that
literally just sit like that because it's comfortable 💀
What’s the end result
What are the benefits?
Shivnaresh jacket 😂
A guy at the gym told, that goblet squat could cause hemorrhoids. Is he right?
Can only sit in squat long times if I sit on toes, is that bad or good?
I can do atg squats with no flexibility issues but it causes me to have butt wink when coming out of it. Maybe it’s too deep?
Asian squat
If my knees are prone to issues after deep squatting for a couple minutes, do I probably just need to stretch more?
My toddler does this all the time
As Indonesian, we always deep squat when we poop for 10-20 minutes everyday.😂
Hah, we Indians do it all the time. 😅
Plus south east Asians.
This is an Indian toilet squat, people!!!
We indians sit everyday early in the morning for 10 -15 minutes
As an Arab it's totally normal to squat that deep and we do it multiple times during a day cause it's ours Way of using the toilet and some time like that for no reason just talking or chilling
Omg I've been doing this thinking it was bad for me
Literally every asian household with squat toilet and manual laundry
🇮🇳: Hold my jet spray
I too am these mobile with long femurs but are not as strong as my other gym friends
We are Indian ... doing it in our mother womb
i sit like that on my office chair lol
I had been sitting like that for almost whole my living til i got hemorrhoids
Who is OP video?
Why bro why did you have to ruin slipknots song
