My Trooper is finally in Florida, sadly I am not (YET) We are moving to Citrus Co the end of this week! I hope we can meet up some time this fall/winter. I have no clue about these trails, "Greenie" has only rock climbed in the Carolina's.
pro driving tip: those outside mirrors are called side view mirrors, not external rear view. flare those bad boys out. when you have them flared correctly, in your actual rear view you should see half the car behind you and the other half in your side view mirror as they approach your rear flank.
I sold my tacoma to get the maverick. I was tired of 13mpg for daily driving and long road trips. The maverick gets 33mpg highway. That's some big gas savings.
I totaled my car and have to buy something new. Do you think a 09-12 AWD RAV4 would be decent at what the Maverick is doing in this video? I want an overland vehicle but also need fuel efficiency and can’t afford to set up a jeep or Tacoma, 4 runner etc.
@@OverlandFlorida so I ended up finding a great deal on a 2012 V6 Toyota Highlander 4wd (really AWD but Toyota labels it 4wd) with 48,818 miles on it. I’m looking forward to getting my 5 year old out in the woods on some basic trails and do some overland camping. Thanks again and I love your channel.

The FR76 the FR stands for Forest Road not fire road. And while riding Ocala please stay on numbered roads and out of restricted areas. People driving and destroying roads and restricted areas are getting more roads closed out there. And if you enjoy the riding keep up with the forestry website and come help do trash cleaning.

I have an 2001 dodge ram 4x4 has a 5.9 litre in it I love it but it loves gas. Won't get rid of it but I love the maverick. It may be my next truck

That would be good. Also AWD Honda pilots are pretty good too. Most AWD are similar.

IMO, I think the Maverick would benefit from having a half cab and a six foot bed. Add half a foot to the bed and subtract 1foot from the cab.
You should send that idea to ford.
