- This is the third of three films where I look at the menu settings on the OM-1 camera and show what I have set. To try and keep the film shorter I am only talking about settings relating to wildlife stills photography.
This week I deal with the Cog wheel and Wench tool settings.
The previous films are;
The first film looks at set 1 and set 2 of the menus.

The second film deals with AF settings.

Thanks, Mike, for the very informative video! I've had my OM-1 for a long time now but your video explained a setting that I'm going to try out. I'll be trying a combination of the multiselector switch and dial settings to adjust my +/- exposure compensation. Hopefully it's easier and faster than what I've been doing. Thanks again!
So many options on modern cameras. Gets confusing!
Excellent and clear menu tutorial. Well done Mike.
Thanks. Turns out the seller on Ebay was Cashconverters. Well know chain of secondhand seller shops. 180 branches.
@@MikeLaneFRPS So no chance of a conviction then ! Someone will have just bought it in a sold it over the counter. I did not know Cash Converters advertised stuff on Ebay.
Thanks Mike 👍
No problem 👍
Excellent as always thanks Mike. I keep bluetooth turned on because I connect my camera to the OI share app on my Iphone. Allows me to record the GPS position of where I took my photos.
Very useful for landscape photography. I do little, but when I do can't remember where it was.
@@MikeLaneFRPS I mostly do walkabout photography so i get both exercise and a few photos. I normally remember where i took them but its nice to have a back up for my memory
Thanks Mike it served useful to recheck..... your Firmware you may wish to consider update??
Turns out I updated one body and not the other. At the time deliberately so I could compare. Long since forgotten and I don't recall seeing any improvement
