I almost always do nature harbours with the bow to the rock, almost always solo, and have found this to be much easier on the nerves than guest harbours with other boats. With nature harbours all the important decisions are made beforehand and the actual mooring doesn't need a total accuracy between expensive boats like in a guest harbour. You could probably benefit from some sort of ladder on the bowsprit, though, I've found that a good addition on more sketchy rocks. God Jul!
We love Neno! And you too of course. Another beautiful video with excellent editing, camera position and angles, scene choices, and commentary. I was surprised the first time I anchored in a large bay in Baja California (Mexico) and I was the only boat there, it was deserted. But later another sailboat arrives and anchors... right next to me! There was easily room for 50 boats to anchor with a lot of room between and this boat anchors next to me. Over the 8 years I cruised Mexico and Hawaii I had that happen many, many times. I wonder if they think I must know the best place to anchor so they want to be close or they are afraid and think two boats together are safer? I don't know. And too many boaters (power or sail) go way too fast when docking or anchoring and that's when problems happen. You are smart, go slow and be safe. Looking forward to the next episode!
This comment made me very happy! Thank you 😍 Sometimes people are like sheep (I used to have a reactive, easily stressed, dog so every time I’d go for dinner somewhere I’d pick a restaurant that’s empty and as soon as I sat down people would flock through the doors😂) so I definitely think it’s cus they aren’t sure about the anchorage and just hope that you know what’s good. I can recommend sailing in Sweden then, Swedes are very good at keeping their distance 😅
Yea I think that might be the cleanest solution. But I don’t have a dyneema fid. I’ll buy a kit before I leave Sweden so then I’ll be able to make stuff 😊
@@MikeSantis maybe, I both love and hate having a lot of gear cus it’s always great to be able to use something that’s made for the situation but at the same time it’s too much stuff to keep track of😅 we’ll see
Vackert filmat, skönt tempo. Längtan till sjösättning är svår.
Tack! Ja det kryper i kroppen.. vart nyss påmind av en seglingsapp att jag inte hade flyttat båten på 69 dagar😅

Ye it’s way more chill. No ladder here, you gotta live a little😎

Tack för en underbar tur. 🐬
Tack själv 😁
I was almost fooled by the nice weather as I’ve been in Sweden in late December and it looked nothing like this video.😂
Hahaha this is how we lure people in 😂
Mysigt avsnitt. Snyggt jobbat med ensamtilläggning , det är alltid en rejäl anspänning.
Tack! Det va den lurigaste på hela säsongen, mycket grunt och stenigt ☺️
Hello,it’s a lovely peaceful spot you’ve tied off to.A nice relaxing sail to reach this destination.Best wishes 🙂
Yea it’s absolutely lovely, a very popular spot in the summer 😊
It looks very challenging mooring in the rocks.. and might be pretty hard to bring Neno back to the boat without getting wet.. happy holidays🎉😊
It was the trickiest one all season, sometimes I get it on the first try. And Neno and I have it locked down, he hasn’t gotten wet even once 🥰
🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤

what about a soft schackle to replace the yellow strap?

Bullet time mooring dodging rocks like Neo.
@@smurglerer haha right 😁
Get your self a Insta 360 when you can. You gonna love it as a solo sailor
Interesting . wich one of those cameras is the best for solosailors would you say?

@seemeatsea same here. I don't use my Insta much for the same reasons. But when I do, I love it.
