I have also shown you the way to talk to them by doing a live phone call with them. Hi Abhay as you have seen in the video, while i was speaking to a supplier on live call, he said used cloth waste is around 5 to 10%. And another seller said in this 5 to 10% waste mostly zip and buttons are not working, which you can get it fixed.
i have ordered a lot of times from panipat and they do tell you its around 5-10%. but mostly its 15-20% and sometimes it might go upto 25%. Instead we supply clothes at MOQ of 25 pcs, selection available through video call, Door delivery available, Cash on delivery available.

Hi Mohamed its a branded used cloth business, these clothes are imported from korea. And target customers for this business is well to do youth who don't want to wear a single cloth repeatedly and want to wear unique clothes always. So in India there is a place called Panipat, where all these clothes are imported and then sold in kilograms. After buying, few clothes are of no use or defect but remaining you can sell at good rates.

Thrifting is altogether a different business compared to other clothing businesses. 1st of all mindset of buyers is very different, they are intentionally buying used cloth at a premium price. Second thing is, its a community oriented business, you have to build a community of like minded followers, they will give you repeated sales because they wear each cloth max two times, once the trust build they will regularly buy. Lastly its not a high turnover and thin margin business, it is a thick margin and selection based business.

i think, instead of buying an 80 kg or 100 kg parcel for one item is a lot for someone who is starting up. and want to sell on instagram or facebook, because a 100 kg parcel of tshirts include 500-600 pcs of tshirts and its not necessary that it will be sold in just one month. it might take atleast 3-4 months to get it sold out. and most of the times these suppliers will show you one or 2 pcs and you have to judge whats inside the bale. they tell you its 3-4 % but mostly it comes down to 15-20%.
