My words are going backwards on using one board, how do I change direction? like being behind the words. This video did help me out big time, now hard to get the displays.
Very nice but what happens if you disconnect from power and then reconnect to power? Will it remember everything and continue displaying your last scrolling message? Or will you lose it and have to go back and reenter the message every time?
Would like to see tutorial on: How to turn this to program via your iphone, so no need for data cable. And a way to save different statements, that can be recalled via different input switches.

sir, i want to ask when we connect this led matrix to arduino and then we connect them both with PC to upload program, does the matrix LED turns on automatically or not. In my case, when I'm connecting both the module with PC, some part of the LED turns on and some are off. This is my first project and i have very basic knowledge about electronic and nil about coding.
Numpang tanya bang, saya kan bikin external / extra display buat timbangan digital via serial communication, ic pakai max7219 dan LED 7segment, sewaktu mulai hidup, angka di timbangan 0, di display juga 0, sewaktu ada beban di timbangan misalnya 1000 di display juga menunjukkan 1000, sewaktu beban kembali ke 0,angka di display tidak mau kembali ke 0 kenapa ya bang? Kalo saya coba kode yang sama dengan ic TM1637 tidak ada kendala bang padahal. Mohon pencerahan nya.

The aim of the project is to wirelessly update the message scrolling on the dot matrix board using the Xbee. One Xbee is connected to the Arduino, the matrix board is also connected to the Arduino (I don't know if my connection is Correct) then the Arduino is connected to the laptop through USB, the second xbee is connected to another USB port. I use the XCTU software to check if the connections between the two Xbee is okay, I can send a message wirelessly to the other Xbee and vice versa... to command it to update the matrix board is my problem here please help me guys. I want to summit the project in school next week

Fc16_HW is not a member of md_max72xx error, how do I fix it?
You have to look for the correct Parola library that has this function. From what I saw, it's calling FC16_HW instead of Fc16_HW (capital C).

Scrolling text is working but it has mirror image problem. Each individual letter is mirrored.

Try uplug the USB and try again.
If you are using a blue Chinese clone of the Nano, you need to choose ATmega328P (Old Bootloader) under Tools/Processor.. HTH.
