the kinnikuman games were built on a solid game engine, they're actually really decent games. They were developed by AKI, which made those critically acclaimed n64 wwf wrestling games.. The company was called syn Sophia, but it still was AKI.
Revenge Mode on WM XiX was always fun for me with created wrestlers...Having Jason throw construction workers off of buildings to there death is something you just don't see in wrestling games anymore lol
I remember in high school thinking am open world game where Vince McMahon conquered the world and you played a rogue wrestler who was part of the anti-WWE resistance. On top of regular open world missions you would have wrestling matches with the final battle being you versus Vince and his remaining allies in a handicap elimination chamber match. (So you versus everyone else in the chamber). After listening to Jim Cornette's podcast though it sounds less insane because some of his stories sound like a good basis for a GTA mission.
Imagine a mission where you go to Jim's house, get in a van with Chris Jericho et al, listen to Corny rant and rave during the drive, then proceed to beat down an entire Dairy Queen when they refuse to make your burgers. Glorious.
Might been in tha 1st list but I remember one called Rumble Rose's or something like that with well endowed half naked women that just giggle all over the place.. one of those Asian type titles like dead or alive but heck.. was a pretty functional game control wise and set up I must say
I remember renting legends of wrestling from Hollywood video back in the day. It was the 1st time I was SO disappointed in a game that I actually brought it back BEFORE the due date. I ended up grabbing some throwaway budget James Bond title instead
Showdown: LOW was actually a good game. It has my favorite wrestling roster on it, and real arenas. And the Region 1 box art DOES have the proper commentators listed on the back. There were several glitches, but other than that, it was a satisfying game.
8] So, this was just a port of the WrestleMania arcade game? That game was fun as hell. Wait, that had a port, so this was a sequel then? Makes sense that they would like it to Mortal Kombat, as both games were made by Acclaim.
I had a story about "Showdown:Legends Of Wrestling". I saw it at the shops one time, and even though I couldn't afford to buy it at the time, I hid it behind a bunch of other games on the shelf, so no-,one else could buy it. Anyway, I tried to later buy it in other places, but couldn't get it anywhere. No-one was selling them anymore. So, I happened to be at the same shop where I hid the game, and, months later, it was still there, hidden behind the other games, where I hid it. I could now afford to buy it and did.
Over two decades later and Backstage Assault is still one of the worst games (wrestling or otherwise) I've ever played. I struggled with the controls of the game at #10, Wrestling Revolution 3D, to the point where it made me feel as if I was a double amputee playing with a controller made of gelatin, but I would still pick it over Backstage Assault ten out of ten times.
If these ten were the only wrestling games you owned, which one would you play the most? I think I would mainly split time between Showdown & WrestleMania XIX.
Never played WrestleMania XIX, but NGL, the Revenge Mode does sound kinda fun. I still have my old Gamecube lying about, so maybe if I ever see it on sale in a pre-owned shop at some point, I'll pick it up. And in regards to that last game, literally the only thing I knew about Antonio Inoki prior to this was that about his chin being the basis of the whole "Joey's creepy chin" thing from Yu-Gi-Oh!
It's definitely fun but unforgiving af. Like certain missions can be ridiculously difficult. It has a pretty good creation suite for the time it came out. I have gameplay on my 2nd channel and this game in regular play if you do any match that consists of you and multiple A.I being a triple threat or Fatal 4 way at some point the A.I won't view eachother as threats and will solely come after you. This can happen multiple times in a match. It's truly bad game design, but it may still be my favorite in the GameCube series of games just because of the possible creations and story.
I've always wanted to play "in your house" I never got to play it in the arcade (under a different name iirc) but I honestly think it looks mint! BTW nacho libre is terrible in everyway!
Maybe someone can help, there was a wwe game i feel like it was day of reckoning. It had some weird gauntlet style mode where u battled on these blocks and climbed up . I seen it as a kid and always wanted to actually play it
Wrestling revolution 3d is actually pretty damn good because it's the first wrestling game i played having sandbox like themes just dont mention pc controls those suck
Nice to see MDickie on here his whole catalog is amazing, even his non wrestling games go hard.
Yeah MDickie has amazing games and at times simply hilarious.

It would also help to link the previous mentioned list somewhere... Smh
Let's see if this comment with that url link stays up.

Oh yeah! Here we go! Sports Entertainment time!
That ladder spot with Angle and Lesnar is insane
I loved the M.U.S.C.L.E figures as a kid.
Your pic is the Thundercats logo, you were alive when those little Ultimate Muscle toys were everywhere.
@@imreadydoctor I had a ton of 'em too!
I'd love to see an entire video on Wrestling Revolution 3D
NewLegacyInc has several videos where they're playing it, as well as the other MDickie wrestling games. It's hilarious.
the whole MDickie franchise is amazing, even the first 2D games
Call me crazy but I love In Your House lol. One of my favorite arcade games when I was younger
Me too. Me and my brothers played it faithfully and had a blast with it back then. Even my mom joined in sometime. Game has its charm.
Revenge Mode on WM XiX was always fun for me with created wrestlers...Having Jason throw construction workers off of buildings to there death is something you just don't see in wrestling games anymore lol
Next year we're getting a wrestling JRPG so hopefully there's a sequel to this soon.
???

The best part about wrestling games are the finishing moves!❤
8:17 You know who _else_ immersed herself fully in the world of wrestling?
Wow, rumbleverse looks pretty sweet!!
The weirdest wrestling game I've played is Rumble Roses.
When you bring in MDickie, everything gets better!
I totally forgot about “WWF in your house” thanks for that memory! :)
All the MDickie wrestling games are, to put it mildly, strange. That is the biggest reason why they're so fun.
7:56 I still playing this game from AKI Corporation on ps2... I Love It!
Those ultimate muscle games were the best thing ever!
6:49 IS a legend and always will be*❤
Don’t worry. I’ve seen and know all about Shane-O-Macs death defying leaps. Jumps and falls off ridiculously high structures.
Shawn Michaels stage was The Heartbreak Hotel.
He called him “Hardy Boy”! This cannot stand
Fun fact: Ray Tormenta is the inspiration for King from Tekken.
I thpught that was Tiger Mask
@@misteraskman3668 that too, I think
No Ultimate Muscle video game for GameCube area, that one odd and fun wrestling game
Shout out to Backyard Wrestling part 1 and 2

I loved In Your House and Showdown!
WWF: In Your House was a follow up to Wrestlemania: The Arcade Game
I remember renting legends of wrestling from Hollywood video back in the day. It was the 1st time I was SO disappointed in a game that I actually brought it back BEFORE the due date. I ended up grabbing some throwaway budget James Bond title instead
The shame I remember picking wcw backstage assault over wwf smackdown 2 on ps1.
Showdown legends of wrestling should have called me for that Jerry Lawler commentary lol 😂 I see him all the time here in Memphis randomly
... rumble roses was a tad 'different' though I dug it :)
Don’t diss the MDickie, his work is excellent
Showdown: LOW was actually a good game. It has my favorite wrestling roster on it, and real arenas. And the Region 1 box art DOES have the proper commentators listed on the back. There were several glitches, but other than that, it was a satisfying game.
No it wasn't a good wrestling game.
these are so odd and dumb and i love it!
What is the origin of that disturbing Hulk Hogan digital render? I've seen it a million times, don't know where it's from
Was that a claw foot bathtub he smacks dude w @ 2:50 ish?😂
Will we have a Cultaholic consultation to help Benjamin with these proceedings?
Let's watch and see!
I had a lot of these games growing up and I enjoyed them all . Anything wrestling I would snag it up.

Good 👍
Wrestling Revolution 3D by MDickie is one of the greatest indie wrestling game ever created.
i like showdown legends of wrestling.
Kinnikuman.
Keen-neekoo-man.
Kinniku means muscle. Man means man.
- the guy who wrote/designed SVR2009, 2010 & 2011’s Road to WrestleMania
You mean it's not kinny koomin?
Showtime Legends of Wrestling was my first wrestling game, and Wrestlemania 21

About that Intro: But NO "Cardboarder"-Wrestling? Ahw man, bummer :(
Thumbnail makes Ultimate Warrior look like Xavier: Renegade Angel.
Treachery in Beatdown City
Ring...Squared Circle.. That's right.. the circle goes in the Square hole..
Do yourself a favor and look up Vader's finisher for In Your House....you'll never be able to look at him the same way

In your house still kicks ass
Why isn’t wrestlemania 21 for the xbox on this list that game was horrendous
wrestlemania 19 strange but more fun then 2k22 and less glitches
Just do a ranked list of MDickie games
Ahem...wrestling rings are circles. Squared circles.
Antonio Inoki RIP
I really thought backstage assault was fun as a kid don’t ask why
I've always wanted to play "in your house" I never got to play it in the arcade (under a different name iirc) but I honestly think it looks mint!

I think you're thinking of it's something he mentioned in the video, the revenge mode in Wrestlemania 19.
@@DevilSurvivor69 im going to have to check that part out again, i probably stopped paying attention

Which is really strangest game called fire pro wrestling word 🌝
The British bulldog was born in Wigan, so should have faught in a rugby stadium surrounded by meat pies.
It's weird to hear someone talk about the characters of Ultimate Muscle and not mention Dik Dik van Dik. But to not even mention Kevin Mask?
Look at the adjective: Mask.
Wow japan has some strange and weird ideas for video games
I still play mat dikie games 🔥😂
God the 90s WWF games were fun!
fun but awful
Was that supposed to be Ahmed Johnson?
wwe all stars is the weirdest wwe game imo
Wrestling revolution 3d is actually pretty damn good because it's the first wrestling game i played having sandbox like themes just dont mention pc controls those suck
don't forget wrestling empire.

As a Wrestling Fan I've Seen The Most WWE WCW ECW TNA ROH Lucha Underground and AEW nothing can surprise me at this point

I would rather play all these than 2k
wwwf in your house was mad by midway wich the mae mortal kombat
Another “fact” about Sgt. Slaughter: He relied on stolen valor to legitimize his gimmick, including after he retired!
backstage assault was so bad, then again it might have a better backstage then any wwe game.. just look at 2k22 it's boring and small
Fight Da Pon is a strange wrestling game.
Wrestling revolution is the shit. Love that game
