I was thinking about The Final Problem as about John's version of The Abominable Bride after he was shot by Eurus since I first saw this episode. I know, that this version probably isn't going to be real, but I would rather have special episode about John's crazy horror hallucination in coma than actual serious episode.

I'm crying. I love u. I bet Moftiss knew Series 4 would have been so much better if it was about John. They just threw in Eurus, Victor and Molly because of shipping. This is a much more dramatic, beautiful, heartfelt and all around better story and it doesn't even need much new characters. It explores both of the main characters past and comes aroudn to the start of them meeting - while actually having met before in childhood. AND it would include a mind palace of sorts, John's, which already is proven to be a popular and loved storytelling device judging from the high rating of TAB! There's no way an idea similar to this didn't ever pop up in their heads, and I cannot find a different reason to abandon it and create whatever mindfuck most of TFP was than them being afraid of even more shipping and therefore cutting down on the John content... might be wrong but that's how it seem to me

YEAH I don't understand how they messed up SO BAD and in SO MANY areas. How do some people see the whole Molly scene as romantic??? I love Molly and it was horrible!! All the villains are queer yet when it's about main charasters "Oh it just doesnt come up in a show like this" what?? (sorry for the ranting, I feel like January is when all my emotions about this show rise from the grave ajksdn)

This is beautiful and... I'm so bloody broken over this. It's gorgeous.
I see that I am the only one here who goes against the crowd and who really liked Season 4 the way it went on the air. However, it would be interesting to see this version of the show. If it turns out a season 5, I have hope in Johnlock, but only the fact that in the end being John and Sherlock 'alone against the world' already makes me happy.

Yes, I too would really like to know what was the point in derailing the whole show. (Though I do think the game isn't over, it just that the subtext is now wildly inaccessible for 99.999% of viewers, even most of the die-hards.. and what's the point in that?). Anyway, if you don't mind recommending me some of those shows, I really need the healing power of good storytelling

what editing software do you use? great vid btw!
Thank you! :) I am switching between multiple softwares I use Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer and Sony Vegas. I made this one in sony vegas because It´s the
easiest way to make effects and tittles :) So almost every time I am making video with some more complicated effects in it, I am working with vegas, but Premiere is fine too :)

Love your video, but if season 4 was about John then why wasn't he in it more? If you eliminate close-ups of John's eyeballs or his nose or his cheeks and eliminate dark silhouette shots he's hardly in it at all. No explanation of what happened after Euros shot him, or why she shot him. No explanation of why Euros tried to seduce John; and no hint of any recognition when he's held captive with Sherlock and Mycroft. John's just there so Sherlock can feel bad about being asked to shoot him. There's nothing in the story to explain John's behavior - cheating, emotional coldness towards Sherlock - he just does it so Sherlock can be sad and Mofftiss can show how clever they are by having one actress play 3 roles. I was sad to see John Watson become nothing but a plot tool. I know that Benedict Cumberbatch is a big star, but sheesh.
I remember Gatiss saying the Season 3.2 where John and Mary get married, something to the effect that the episode was based on the idea - 'Let's see what Sherlock would do giving a Best Man speech.' This time, apparently, it's 'Let's see what Sherlock would do if he lost John's friendship' or 'What would Sherlock do if he had decide between John and Mycroft'. Taking no care to show how or why John stops caring for Sherlock. I've seen Martin Freeman's excellent explanation in a video, but it's not shown in the series, unless his eyeball was telling the story. It's all 'John in sad'.

I usually use sony vegas 12. Sometimes Premiere pro or Avid media composer but mostly vegas. I find it best for visual corrections :)
Ah, I used to use Premiero Pro until I moved to a country it didn't allow its products to be used in. I want to get Sony Vegas Pro but I haven't got the money. Do you know any cheap programs for video editing that can made professional-grade (or high quality) content? Also, thanks for replying so quickly :D

But honestly I wasn't able to make HD video with movie maker so I'm not sure if it's possible and I didn't try anything else before I started with sony vegas, avid and premiere pro. But... then I didn't know before that I should download HD quality movies in a first place XD So who knows. Or maybe try some trial versions first :) I am sorry, if it wasn't much helpful.
Oh no, you're being very helpful ahaha a lot of video editors just ignore me, so I'm really glad you took the time to respond :D I'll look into trying the trial versions before buying, as well as trying the one you linked. Thanks so much! Right now I'm using Lightworks which reminds me of Premiere Pro a lot, but it's not as high quality. The overlays are messier and it's not as easily controlled. So yeah, thanks again! :)
Your welcome! :)) Oh and I really recommend sony vegas even as a trial version. There are so many options for effects and colloring! When I first try it I couldn't believe it :D seriously It was just too much :D And most of my favourite youtube editors either edit with vegas or started with it :))
