This is my very favorite age in the life of a cub....they are still so tiny, but they’ve filled out and their coats have fluffed up, and they’re still just a little bit clumsy! Really adorable!
She tried to settle down several times, but the cubs wouldn't have it! Yes, it didn't take these tiny Grizzlies long to make use of all their equipment.. they were a little clumsy in the trees on this day, but just a few days later they were zipping up and down every third tree with ease. When will 399 and her cubs finally hibernate? I would have thought with the cold and snow they would all be denning already? Thanks for your great footage. Haven’t seem them live since early Sept, but you are keeping me posted on their growth and progress. So thankful they all came back to the park after their adventure down south.
Hi Debra! This isn't actually 399(we are more North), but yes, it is surprising to know that Mum and her 4 cubs were still out and about recently and looking great. The last sighting we had of this local famous Mum and 2 COY was mid-summer. Thank you for your support!
Coming in all shapes and sizes, these COY were certainly very cute and fluffy, seemingly to be a little more round and short than her previous cubs years ago.
