    18lb sounds about right for the rotten bottom dave, I used 12lb a few months back and lost a lot of leads when I didn't need too really 😏 live and learn thanks to dave 👌

    Personally I use a swivel instead of the thermal ink on hook snood as it’s more stream line but great vid

    • @C3BFA
      @C3BFA  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes lots do rich. I do it so I can unclip the snood maybe I should of mentioned that in the rig making video 🤦 lol

    Nice Vid, good clear explanation, might be worth mentioning the rotten bottom should be lighter than your mainline or your mainline will break 1st and potentially leave 100 yds of line to tangle anything in the water.

      @@C3BFA Have you used the running ledger version for Smooth hounds? I often use running up and overs if the tides not strong... wondering if that could replace it?

    Great Vid Dave...loved the way you presented this...I was wondering on what Gary at Trident meant about 'double use pulley'...now I know! Like Richard says below... I always use swivels on my snoods, with Gemini super strong snood clips, for years, as these are much slimmer and facilitate a quick change of trace either due to fish teeth or pennel to single hook..thanks again...tight lines..

    • @C3BFA
      @C3BFA  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks John. Yes the double use is very handy.

    unfortunately i bought 200 of the first aero pulley tackle and do not like them at all,the new ones are miles better and use them all the time,great rig and tutorial
    ps anyone want to buy 195 aero pulley lol

    • @C3BFA
      @C3BFA  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      195 pulleys 😂 I didn't mind the first ones but I do prefer the second ones my self I agree with you.
      Thanks for your feedback I appreciate it

    Hi Dave love the videos well explained and easy to follow how to tie these rigs,ive just ordered some trident components I didn't buy the dynaform could you use the aero pulley in the same way or is it better with the dynaform tia 👍🎣🎣🎣

    • @C3BFA
      @C3BFA  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Michael I really appreciate it.
      I don't think the aero pulley would work as it's not free sliding so when it's set up as a running ledger it would be fixed and not work how it should. The Dyno form is totally free running.
      It may still work but it would be more like a bolt rig I suppose

    • @michaelabbott6271
      @michaelabbott6271 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@C3BFA Hi Dave thanks for the reply that's what I thought it would act as a bolt rig I'll have to 9rder some dynaform and tie some rigs up thanks again tight lines m8 👍🎣🎣🎣
