Whenever your trying to take a photo of a car moving like that I would suggest move you camera at the same speed as the vehicle so the car will be in focus
great vid, what settings do you use? Single shot focus? continuous and do you use aperture priority? I read that single shot can be misfocused sometimes.
Usually, it depends on the situation. If something you're shooting is static, use Manual focus. But.. when the object is moving, and the frame is changing really fast, use Auto Focus. I put the AF/MF switch on a Custom Button so you can switch between. Hope it helps !!
