Just bought the Crafty SE and cannot be happier!!! Suspension set is just incredible and you seat just perfect on this bike..mine is removable 625wh battery but really enought and with a 2nd battery you ll be ready for full day trips.
Nice riding Austen and thanks for the review Fly Rides. These Mondrakers are starting to really catch my eye. Design looks amazing and if I can ride half as well as Austen (sans bug eating), I'd be thrilled.
I love how these bikes are great for riders of all types. They're great for those who are just starting out and advanced riders as well.

Still my favorite brand. Nothing rides like a Drake! I wonder if you could tell a difference between 2021 and 2022 with the new Bosch system. The Crafty SE has a special place in my heart but if it's practically the same, why not have a bigger battery?
That’s the one! The new Bosch System is awesome as it comes with a massive 750wh battery. Personally, I’d put the display in a drawer because the LED display shows you plenty battery and power assist information. Love the way the Mondraker Zero-Pivot suspension feels. It climbs well and just eats up everything you throw at it downhill.
Totally agree about the display! That's one of the coolest things about this system: the ability to go without the display.
How do you disconnect the display
@@huybrechtsmathieu there’s a connection port behind the display mount. Once unplugged, you can remove the Kiox 300 display and connect the LED Remote directly to the drive unit.

Would you buy a new Mondraker Chaser R 2023 for €4500 or a used rental Mondraker Crafty R with 680 km for €4600/4700?
I don't do bike parks, I would need an all mountain that is good for very bumpy paths both uphill and especially downhill
Take the chaser, i have acrafty r, and my brother have a chaser, therse no big difference
You talking about quality of the components. I just bought Crafty R 2023. Welds on the frame looks terrible. Too thick,,not straight,they looks like someone welded this frame in a basement with lights off 😕
