Thats my senior colleague at Ugmc endoscopy unit. Joel is very experienced and patriotic. He still comes back to donate medical equipments to facilities in Ghana
What I got from this interview is that Ghana is experiencing a huge BRAIN DRAINAGE. The sense of Nationalism alone is not enough. The government has to find a way to entice the next generation from fleeing. Great interview as always
Thank you very much for sharing your experience senior, school of PON/CCN has really produced a gem.👍🏼 Interestingly my first time of seeing Tegaderm was at the ICU, it’s not commonly used at the general wards because it’s quiet expensive as compared to the normal plasters.
I TOTALLY agree with him that you can't replace anyone- they can NEVER do it the the ORIGINATOR. EITHER do it less or better but not like the people who originated the idea.
The tribal-partisan politics is the main problem that has caused severe damage to Ghanaians and putting the nation in a mess. Like his father did to him, majority of the leaders in the various sectors of the government institutions were recruited into position through connection from either their tribal relatives, ruling political party or relatives who were once there. These same leaders also use same tactics to recruit their own into office when leaving. This has become a cycle and killing the country. So, many Ghanaians are looking for HUMAN FAVOUR from tribal relatives and political parties, through dubious ways, so qualification and amount of salary are no more a priority to them when seeking job in Ghana.
@gamej7946 I also disagree, it's not always about lifestyle, plus if you look at him, you can see he invests in developing himself and looking after his family. People are not paid what they deserve in Ghana.
@@maraaba6734 He agreed to the terms and payment of the company and took the job. If he's paid what he doesn't deserve he should look for a new job. If you send your children to a private school you will pay more. There are government schools that are good but our minds are fixed the private schools are good or our kids.
I enjoyed this conversation and thanks to you DJ Nyame for allowing him to share his experience with us. One of my best interviews.

Have your own and speed it up. I’m enjoying it though.
Some people naturally speaks slowly. It's not their fault and there is nothing they can do about. I guess he is one of them.

That is a sign of failed country
I disagree. What was his lifestyle back home? In the Uk many don't lead that lifestyle that wasted their monies.
