THE FUTURE FACE OF THE PHILIPPINES! CDO CITY
Well & good that future commercial projects are in the pipeline for my hometown CDO. Although I presently do not live there now since 45 years ago I still check on the city from to time to see what is going on. With these new projects in the pipeline that you presented on your vlog, I just wondered if the city government has ever considered using URBAN PLANNING to prepare them for these investors coming into the city to build all these different structures. Let me enumerate what the city needs to look into:
1.) Electric Greed needs to increase because these Commercial Facilities need a lot of electricities usage. I don't know if CDO still relies on ILIGAN HYDRO ELECTRIC PLANT as their main source of electricity supplier. They have to find an alternative other than this plant.
2.) Water Supplies. The city cannot depend on the underground water supply. When you deplete underground water, the soil above will sink which can cause flooding since the land now becomes lower than sea level. The city of Manila & Jakarta Indonesia for example gets flooded every time it rains because there is no proper drainage & the land had sunk because of the absence of a water table underground that supports the soil above.
3.) With the need for a better water supply, the city must look into building a water dam to supply the city with enough water supply to sustain the growing population & the demand it requires for businesses to use. Water Dam collects water from the rain instead of getting wasted down into the river & to the oceans meanwhile flooding the towns & city saturated with water as it passes through.
4.) With all the city's progress & Commercial expansion, roads & streets must be widened to accommodate hundreds of cars which congest the city every day and causes business owners to lose hourly money. This is what is happening in Manila & Cebu.
Sorry for this long commentary opinion. I want the CDO to be progressive but it also requires good planning to prepare for the future progress of the city, that's all.

Iloilo is bettet than this city? Wala ngang high-rise structures ang iloilo,tallest approximately 18-storey lang,at wala pang skyscrapers sa kanila, ordinary city lang sila, i both visited these city, cdo is wow let's wait for 2025 my former town.

nope Xavier City - is a proposed mixed-use highrise complex located currently in Xavier University in Downtown...while Manresa Town is located in Uptown..

Iloilo city is small & cute solo city focus only in BPO....while CDO is way bigger and has a progressive neighboring city and municipalities that's why it's choosen to be the 4th Metropolitan center in Phil.
