Yeah. The deluxe sets do often cut corners. I don't have that one yet (I WANT IT!), but I do have the "Elena of Avalor" one and while I love the dolls, it did have problems. The set came with Elena, her sister Isabel and friends Naomi, Gabe and Mateo. Mind you, the latter three were only available in this set. Elena and Isa had a few different versions released. 1. They completely coped out on the Mateo doll. Mateo and Gabe have two different body types canonically, but they just re-used the standard male/prince mold for both of them, which makes Mateo (who, canonically, is kind of nerdy and skinny) look weird. PLUS, they used the outfit he only wore ONCE in the "Secret of Avalor" special, it was all one piece and they didn't even include his Wizard robe. Like...???? His whole role in the show is royal wizard! But, they did include his tamborita. 2. The girls' clothing has the same issues you found here. Elena's everyday dress and ballgown are far less detailed than either the classic or singing doll verions, ditto with Isabel's. Naomi only has one outfit and it's all one piece despite it being multiple pieces canonically. YET, they gave her a bracelet you have to TIE on which is near impossible at times because it's so tiny. 3. Glue. God, THE GLUE. All of the girls got the hot water treatment because their hair was so terribly glued, I could do nothing until I removed it. 4. Naomi and Gabe got nothing extra. No outfits and no accessories. Elena got three extra outfits and few accessories to go with each, Isa got one and Mateo got his Tamborita. Kind of lame. Not to mention Isabel has PAINTED-ON tights, which I hate. It makes it so hard to dress her. So, I think, like you had mentioned, because they are meant to be cheaper overall, the sets sometimes do sacrifice some of the quality. Though, at least with the Frozen set, the characters are available as solo/other set dolls. Problem with the Elena one is that Naomi, Mateo and Gabe were never released outside of the set, so you got what you got. (Naomi did get a Hasbro doll in big retail stores, but she was poorly distributed.)
@@CheshireTremaine I've bought other clothes for him and Gabe, which helps a bit. But their feet are also stupid big and they can usually only wear the shoes the came with (which is another issue). So they can only wear long pants with room for the boots.
Awesome! The singing elsa doll has her cape hemmed and it has a pattern and the singing doll has a slightly shorter braid and its gelled, and for anna the singing version has her legs painted and her face is different, and her hair is more neat in the bangs
You should def get the hasbro anna(frozen 2) deluxe doll, I got one for my daughter and her dress is absolutely gorgeous, the face mold not much(also those eyelashes😂), but for the dress(somethings never change one) it was really worth it.
Okay so hello I just found this video because I bought this set recently and I cannot wait to get it at the end of the week to I just watch videos about it lol. Girl I cannot believe how similar we are, I'm 23 and everything you were saying about the dresses or the dolls I agree with completely! It is actually super funny cause one of the reasons I bought the set is that I NEED the green dress for Anna, even tho it is not as detailed as the first one that came out, it looks ok. I used to have the first Anna and Kristoff dolls but for some reasons I sold them uhh, I kinda regret it now but with this set I'll have them back (worst quality wise but well). OMG this set is absolutely gorgeous! I'm not quite sure if i should get it for christmas since i already have anna and elsa from frozen in the 1st release (the one you showed in the vid with the beautiful snowflakes cape) but i love all the dresses in this pack! ughhh i don't know what should i do!
i have the version of anna that sings and the orange undershirt isn't a separate piece but the black is layered and like fused over it so it has the illusion of being two articles of clothing which is a nice detail even if two actual articles of clothing would be nicer (also i could go into the lore of why olaf's permafrost is called that despite not being actual permafrost but i'll spare you lmao)

I added the dolls separately and it would be over £68.00 Like you I want every single outfits for my dolls (I got all but one Princess Jasmine outfits, even though I need to get another Jasmine doll), got all of Belle’s outfits (from the last deluxe set I brought), Ordered Ariel’s blue dress (along with this deluxe set today) I only got her Mattel dress and it is that horrible material, ordered Tiana’s I’m almost there dress (I brought the singing Tiana doll, and her dress was very tatty). I just remember I’ve got three of Anna’s dress she wears in Frozen I, two of her coronation outfit, and two of Elsa’s Let it Go outfit (I still have the frozen things from the singing Elsa doll. The Beauty and the Beast deluxe doll set really disappointed me because there was no Prince included. I wish they did a Princess and the Frog Deluxe doll set because I need Prince Naveen, Charlotte, and Dr Facilier (I don’t like his limited edition doll) dolls along with Frog Tiana and Naveen, Ray, Louis, young Tiana and Charlotte, Tiana’s mum, Big Daddy dolls, and extra outfits. Same goes for Pocahontas (a movie that doesn’t get any love). And I also with they did classic dolls of the Kingdom Hearts characters (they might have to ask Square Enix if they can do that). I put all of my classic Disney female doll heads on Made to Move Barbie dolls bodies, I’m hoping to get some with a Amazon gift cards I hope to get at Christmas.

I think that the classic doll single outfits had a little more detail on them but they’re pretty much the same

Can confirm the frozen 2 singing Elsa they came out with does have the same dress,but the cape is hemmed so it won't fray as easily.
