IN THIS VIDEO I SHOW HOW TO MAKE NIGERIAN EGG ROLLS
INGREDIENTS:
4 cups flour
1/3 cup sugar
tsp baking powder
tsp salt
100 g butter
1 cup milk (add it gradually until you get the correct consistency)
2 eggs for the dough
1 dozen boiled eggs
ginger for flavor use any flavor of your choice
pineapple flavor use any flavor of your choice
oil for deep frying
This video reminds me of those days when my mum when will wake six of us up in the middle of the night to bake the flour, prepare the egg roles and later supply to various stores and supermarkets in the following morning, and am glad to say that she trained all of us to the Tertiary level with this business and we were so loyal as children to learn from her and help her as well, and now she is old, we are the one taking good care of her in return. Thank you! I had never heard of having a biscuit coating on a hard boiled egg. I must try this soon. I have tried Scotch Eggs which uses pork to wrap around the egg and then fried and those are good too. Your family is lucky.
