- It's been along time between drinks but i finally got to chase a swell to my beloved Fiji. Cloudbreak is a world class big wave spot and although it was not the biggest waves I have filmed there, there was a couple of pristine days of Fijian Cloudbreak perfection that make this wave so inviting. I live absolutely nowhere near an ocean and yet I've been fascinated with surfing my whole life.
Might be the best footage I've watched this millennium so well done Tim, simply the dreamy perfection of the waves, the music & the good vibes you bring.. Keep the ball rolling mate this is EPIC

Cloudbreak has to be the most epic and rideable big wave ever. It's so hollow but yet a surfer can setup in the pocket and relax.

Love this Cloudbreak vid also that JOB popped over for a g’day. Surfed there when it was 2’ which is about as big as I can handle even then it was packed with American family having private surfing lessons, courtesy was not part of their curriculum sadly. 😊❤

Hmmmm, I would like to be at Restaurants on Day2. See dem freight trains comin down the line… chooo-chooo I’m the little engine that could.. and did! Great work as usual Tim. Watching from da boat gives a scaled down version (IMHO). After getting worked in the lineup , you get back into the boat and think” gosh, it was heavier than it looks from here!”

Go watch his girlfriends latest TH-cam video they are at Kelly's surf ranch. Jamie does the most insane switchstance pigdog tuberide the world has ever seen. In all my life I've never seen anything like it. It's after the first half of the video. He is for sure the best barrel rider the world has ever seen.
This break seems to favor the goofy foot riders. Most of em caught deep barrels.

Finding this channel has been great. Teahupoo has absolutely blown my mind and this is my first Cloudbreak introduction. Pacific is just a monster. First time I laid eyes on it was Half Moon Bay right when a huge tide was coming and it scared the shit out of me and I stayed out of the pacific until Hawaii this summer and first time surfing. Best thing on earth. Kicked my ever loving ass though

If ever there was a perfect wave….this is it
To surf these breaks successfully and have a lot of fun in the process is to have a jetski.
Surfed Namotu a couple of times when they had a jetski on hand, and it made surfing these insane breaks so easy.

Seems like only yesterday, going to Malolo when just a few if us started to hunt down some beasts back in the early 70's. O'Brien and the crew looked like they all had a blast. Vanaka.
I love Tahiti but Cloudbreak has to be one of the most aesthetic waves in the world.
