When my son was about 19 he was living in Las Vegas and doing a lot of drugs and very depressed. I was concerned for his life every day. About the same time I was diagnosed as bipolar and also having a very difficult time. This song became our song of promise between each other. We both made it. He is now happily married, an honor graduate of Berkeley and a producer at an award winning documentary production company in LA. I am very stable, retired and also happily married due over 25 years. When my son married his wife about 7 years ago, I joined him for the Mother/Son dance and he had chosen this song. Many tears were shed, but of gratitude and joy. Thank you so much for this blessing.

One night I was at work and I was extremely depressed and sick of my life. I didn't know what to do. I was holding back tears. I didn't want to go on living the way I was living, but I didn't know what else to do either. I prayed to God in my head in desperation to just give me a sign and let me know that I was not alone. A few minutes later I went to leave work. I got in my car and apparently I had left the radio on because the moment I turned the key this song started playing. He started singing the moment I turned the key: "I need a sign, to let me know you're here. All of these lines are being crossed over the atmosphere. I need to know that things are going to look up..., calling all angels". It was an amazing synchronicity and sign for sure. And it felt like God was saying to me "I won't give up, if you don't give up".

I'm listening to this now in this coronavirus crisis going on, and I've been having some suicidal thoughts, thinking that I wish this virus would kill me, because I don't know what I'm living for, but I won't give up if you don't give up. I love the saying- walk by faith not by sight.

My 14 year old Granddaughter passed away 3 days ago. I have been devastated and crying for 3 days. I had to go to the store to get groceries tonight. As I walked in, this song started playing from the beginning. Needless to say, I most likely looked like a blubbering idiot shopping. Beautiful song!

Yep... I almost feel bad that I came here specifically to say how much MORE I hate this f****** song, since it's been put into a commercial. I hated it when I first heard it as a teenager, I hated it all the times that got overplayed and I still f****** hate it! I have to constantly be talking or listening to something to keep it from playing over and over in my head for the past couple weeks!!!!!!!

Dear Train, I want to thank you for sending a message from God to all that have been hurt in one way or another. FYI, my daughter was raped by her father at the age of 3 years old. She just turned 33 and can't find the help she needs for her PTSD and DID. I pray for her all the time. The only child God blessed me with at the age of 30. Now my health is going down hill. Getting ready for surgery number 22, 23, and 24. I'm to young to die and she needs me. I'm all she has in her mind. I've shared this song with her and she doesn't understand why I cry. I'm praying for both of you. There are answers, miracles and even pretty simple tools that can help you feel inner peace. In that state you can recognize the still small voice inside doing its best to get your attention. It's tough tho, when life seems to be against you and a lot of things "out there" are pulling your attention. I know, I went thru a lot and felt despair but eventually found answers when I was younger. There is great reason for hope. God bless you.

17 years ago, my husband got cancer. We had been married 35 years. The despair in trying to get him back from how quickly he was deteriorating, was echoed in this song. I won't give up if you won't give up, I need a hand to build up some kind of hope inside me....it was my deepest feeling. I'd sing it while crying when I was alone. He passed a year after diagnosis. So sorry for your loss! You will see him again I can guarantee it. 26 yrs ago I saw 3 angels overlooking my father-in-law who passed away on my porch. They did not see me as I rushed to get to him and as I got to the porch I was screaming for him to get up when all three quickly turned and saw me, opened their wings which were huge, flew up into the air and just disappeared. All 3 were male and were young men wearing human clothing, one even wore a cap. Changed my life! Blessings

AnnaMaria Natale I’ve been listening to this song since Aug 2019. I was a truck driver but I was in a serious accident. My truck broke down on my way home. I was legally park 13 ft from the travel lane. I was only there 15 minutes when another semi hit me doing 70 mph. I messed me up pretty good. I will never be able to drive a truck again or even work. I have back and shoulders injuries. Not to mention some memories issues. But if I hadn’t been parked there the other semi would of took out the toll booth and kill whoever was in it. As it worked out I was the only one injured and the driver that hit me walked away without a scratch. So I listen to this song very often. God bless you hope you make out of this virus crap

So many of us deal with extremely selfish people, and very rarely we happen upon people who go out of their way to help us. Those are the angels.

When I heard this song on the radio for the first time and our marriage was in trouble my husband was struggling with events in his past that was destroying him and our marriage; this song became our song; I would sing this to my husband and he got the help he needed, here we are many years later and going strong as ever, the Angels listened and feeling blessed. Hi Seamus I'm so sorry for your loss, I've been together with my wife for 27 years. 4 years ago she had a BMT now she had lung cancer & it's untreatable so we just have time & I'm trying to keep her safe for as long as I can. I am so sorry for your loss. The pain is more than you can bare sometimes, it never gets easier, just changes levels of intensity. This life on planet earth is so short, each day matters, there should be no worrying about incidentals. But we are only human. One thing my husband did let me know after he passed, the physical dies, but love NEVER dies. Their love and our love knows no death, no barriers. The love we have for each other is unseen as humans, but is real. It is unseen when we pass, but is still very much alive. Love does not die when we do. Many prayers for all suffering on these posts. The from the gut verses in this song have touched millions.
And for all abused and neglected children, please make child abuse a national priority. They have no voice.

This song was playing on the radio in the delivery room when my daughter was born. Her birthday is in a few days. Everytime I hear this it takes me back. Felt like the dark clouds around my heart opened up and the sun was shining through as she came into the world. I swore I'd do everything to love her and keep her safe. I joined the Marines because I'd be damned if I wouldn't do anything to make this world a better place for her. When I came home with ptsd my wife decided to leave and I fell deeper into darkness. Currently listening to the song in the parking lot of the VA hospital. Trying to find the strength to keep going. I was willing to die for my family. The question now is am I willing to live? Please God help me find the strength.

This is a beautiful song with lots of meaning that always to brings a tear to my eyes:). If any time we need Angels, it is now in 2016. Please pray that those Angels will help people who have lost faith and hope to find faith in love, not faith in rage. Please pray that those Angels will inspire us to remember what Paul said, " When everything is lost, love, hope, and faith remain, but the greatest of these is Love". Hence, if God's love is always there and he has forgiven us before we were born, may his Angels inspire people to want to learn how to love and help one another.

I have just come across a startling fact. My grandma cecelia who was an orphan whom which we never found her parents her birthday is on November 11th. Which would be 11/11. Are you familiar with angel numbers? Well 11/11 is an Angel number. Have you ever heard of saint Cecelia? Her birthday was November 22. She was said to have an Angel who sat by her side and protected her virginity. She converted people to Christianity and was made a martyr of by the Romans. They tried to suffocate her by steam for 3 days and when she wouldn't die they be headed her. In the 1500's they found her body completely intact and mummified. The only of the saints from that time and area preserved that way. Well if you ever met my grandmother she was so kind of a woman that you would have thought she was an angel. I am thinking she was an angel and still is. I have always felt her around me. Just the craziest thing. I needed to tell someone so thanks for listening.

Pay less attention to who they run with and more on their history - will they walk all that talk? I live in a small town though.
