This is one of my favorite songs OF ALL TIME! Thank you for sharing! 🙌🏽
MINE TOO!! I Love EWF and particularly this. thanks so much for watching!!!!!!!
@@luffegunMerry Christmas 🎅🏾 🎄 luffegun
This was my favorite song of all time... BEFORE I heard this mix. Now? Dayum.
How GOOD IS IT!!!!!!!!
Those vocal fills are fucking outstanding
I love you man! I’m grateful you do these! I love multitracks & listening to each individual track. And I love your honesty, enthusiasm & humor! 👍😊
It sounding so brazilian, so magic. One of my fav song ever
All those intruments, vocal lines and amazing harmonies, just awesome. And that Philip Baily falsetto voice...👌
My favorite song. It makes me so happy.
Yo dude. I was tuned in for this vid. Just remember I can't super chat. Yor intro theem kinda reminds me part of Mariah Carrie's We Belong Together.
No problems man! I rarely see the comments til after the premiere anyway haha.
@@luffegun Ah okay. But just wanted you to know I do tune in. Say when you play the tracks what are we hearing? Like do you have something connected to your PC outpoot or something? Ah as you've done some Bruno Marz tunes. Have you already done Locked oout of hevan? If not that would be an interesting 1. That tune reminds me of my friend Megan. Yes there are tunes my mind associates with women. Hence when you brought up Janet Jaxon I brought up Feedback. Cause that 1 reminds me of my friend Anjela.
@@luffegun your intro also reminds me of the We Belong Together Mariah song when she sings "who will?, who will?"
Someone on here said that "Maurice White played the drums on all the studio sessions, while the other drummers played only live". That's incorrect. His brother Fred White played the drums on like 70% of the tracks in the studio after he came into the band in 1974, and Ralph Johnson played on a few studio tracks too, like "Got To Get You Into My Life" because Fred could not play the session after breaking his ankle.
I’d love to hear you do this with a rare gem from Earth, wind & fire called ‘clover’, released in the 1973 Head to the sky album. Also the brazilian rhyme interlude (also called beijo) featured in the same album as Fantasy will blow your mind with its rich chords and fantastic bass !
Became my favourite song not long ago, when I picked up playing bass. watched this video several days ago. Came back for the horns, especially the modulation.
Everything fits PERFECTLY that's why I love Earth, Wind & Fire!
Would love to see a raw multitrack reaction to the E.W.F songs "On Your Face" & "That's the way of the world"
Ooh id love to! i don't have those yet but thats the way of the world is one of my favourites.
Suggestion for another EWF track: Sunshine from the Gratitude album. I’ve tried to dissect the multiple vocal tracks and every time I try, I hear something I have never heard before. It would terrific if you could bring your insight to that track. Please oh please.
Bruh just saw the alert you're gonna do the Womanizer stems. Epic! This is also 1 of those tunes as I told you my mind attaches songs to women. Womanizer reminds me of a Southern California girl named Carrie Schaffer. She to is blind like me.
Thank u, Thank u, Thank u!!!🥲🥲🥲
Hi, First off, I didn't know you or your channel; how is that possible?! Great content and charisma, Subscribed now!
I must ask, where did you find those tracks? Independently of music, I'm used to studying how humans achieve magic breakthroughs in different industries, and obviously, it's one, I would love to put my hands on this track to study deeper. thank you for that!
Hi, you are doing a great job. Thank you for the songs. Could you try Mind Up Tonight of Melba Moore please?
Thank you so much for subscribing! im so sorry i havent been able to find any Melba Moore session files. but if i do you will spring straight to mind! thanks so much for checking this one out!
@@luffegun Welcome😉
@@luffegunIf you find Kashif the song Lover Turn Me On it would be good also 😉
Maurice White plays drums on all the albums. Other drummers only played live
No, his brother Fred White played the drums on like 70% of the tracks in the studio after he came into the band in 1974, and Ralph Johnson played on a few studio tracks too, like "Got To Get You Into My Life" because Fred could not play the session after breaking his ankle.
@@amazing50000 I too believe this. But Phillip said during a podcast with Questluv that it was Maurice doing all the drumming on the albums and of course he and Phillip were doing all the singing. I guess they just listed those guys in the credits for name recognition. Like Prince did for The Time
@@mrmotown1004 Yeah? In Phillip's book "Shining Stars" and Maurice's book "My Life with Earth, Wind & Fire" they both confirmed that Fred & Ralph played on a lot of the recording sessions a long with Maurice himself as he described in his book as "Sharing the drum chair" in the studio.
That's one subject I wish someone from the group would clear up, which is who played drums on what songs. But to be clear, Maurice did NOT play all the drums on all the albums. Once Fred joined the group I think Maurice played drums less and less, usually when he wanted to get a certain sound. Philip said in his book that Maurice played drums on "Runnin" from "All n All" because the other drummers couldn't get the sound he wanted. Maurice said in his autobiography that he played drums on "Imagination" from "Spirit". Maurice specifically said in his autobiography that Fred played drums on the song Shining Star and everything on "I Am" (you can hear Fred's big bass drum foot on "I Am"). And Ralph played drums on "Got to Get You Into My Life" because Fred was injured. My all time favorite group and a band of drummers (before all the drum machines anyways)...I wish someone would tell who played drums on which song. I'm just guessing but I think that's Maurice on "Love's Holiday" from "All n All" and Fred on "Getaway"....
I love this but I wish you would not sing and play along with the tracks so we could hear the greatness of Earth Wind and Fire.
Wow, thanks for that!!! Any chance telling where these stems are available?
Those guitars and bass will make u busss lol
Can you do After The Love Is Gone?
I've been waiting my whole life for someone to ask me that! YES YES YES i can not wait to do it! its line dup and ready to go.
where can we find the multitracks please ? can you post them on your channel ?
Glyn Johns mic technique
Just pputting that here cause 1 can't DM youtubers no more as far as I know.
GUMBY??? 😭
hahhhaha yes! Gumby made me who i am today!
If only you'd stop singing over the vocal tracks we're trying to hear... that would be outstanding!!
