I made the gauge base blade with aluminium 5 mm.. do increased the depth of cutting instead of using ply 6 to 8mm..

I had a cumi 1200watt 5 inch cutter, sold it on olx within 2 months, they are good for professionals, but not for DIYer like me, the blade spins fast & is shit scary,while cutting wood the blade may jam & kickback, so not suitable for hobbyists, got a ferm jigsaw which i am still using , has some drawbacks but way way safer.
+point for jig saw is that you can cut metal too. Yes. This cutter tool is scary, but only when a wood cutter disc used on. More dangerous than an Angle Grinder.
Woodworking professionals use circular saw which has self closing guard on bottom side.
Jig saw= Slow, free cut
Cutter= Fastest, only straight cut
Speed controller costing around rupees 500/ available with Amazon. For wood cutting around 5000 to 6000 rpm is safe and sufficient.

This depends on how you use on metal. I use it to cut straight in metal plates. Cut will be better considering the same with angle grinders.

Personally I have never used my Machines at 100% duty cycle. The only reason for that is, specs mentioned on these Chinese machines is not true. But, trust me, 12G electrode can be used continuously. Welding with 10G, I give rest for the machine myslelf after using about 6-7 electrodes continuously.
Bcoz of that my single pcb IGBT has lasted 3 years.
