I hate when the dad wants to be the father but isnt . Then we have the ones who don’t want to be who are. Sad
Its heartbreaking...especially for the children. Either way you look at it, from those two perspectives, its a grim situation. I can only hope the first one, who wanted SO BADLY to be her father, but wasn't, kept his word that his devotion to this child would remain, despite the fact that they don't share blood. And if there WAS so much doubt in the second case, WHY WAIT 33 years to learn the truth? Especially when this beautiful woman wants a father in her life so badly. He spent 33 years NOT being in her life, due to the doubt. Will he be a more devoted father for her, now that this truth has come to light. Because I think that would be EVEN MORE heartbreaking for her....knowing that he really is her father and he STILL doesn't want to be in her life. And he even said that he had a choice to make, that day at the hospital. His girlfriend had just had their son....and Ms. Cherry's mother had just had his daughter. And even though MULTIPLE PEOPLE were congratulating him on the birth of his DAUGHTER....when it came down to it, he CHOSE to go to his girlfriend and her son. He denied his daughter once. He continued denying that she was his daughter for the past 33 years...DESPITE already being told this is his daughter when she was born. Had their been a doubt at that time on the paternity of the daughter, he could have done a paternity test and confirmed his bond with her then. He just didn't want a daughter...he would rather have a son. He even ADMITS this when Judge Lake made that point. He's so busy listening to gossip on the streets, and not finding the truth FOR HIMSELF on whether she was his daughter or not, so when the streets told him he wasn't the father, rather than CONFIRM THE TRUTH with a paternity test, he says "I have my son. I don't want to be bothered with this other daughter. I choose my son. and he just let it be assumed that he wasn't the daughter's father even though HE WAS. Careful Mr. Johnson...if you deny her one more time, you are no better than Peter when he denied Christ three times. In my opinion, the best predictor of future behavior is relevant past behavior. And while his hug was a nice gesture, NOTHING ELSE he has done has indicated his desire to be her father. EVEN WHEN the paternity test was offered to him MULTIPLE TIMES, he still didn't do it. It took the daughter bringing him all the way to court. If we are looking at which man is truly a FATHER, I would say the first man is the better father, even though he didn't share blood with his child...at least he WANTED her and his love was reflected in his actions. Unlike the father who DID share DNA with his daughter.
@CeltycSparrow I hope he didn't, he needs to move on and find someone who he can trust, he should start his own family with his biological children, sucks for the child but he shouldn't reward her bad behavior by staying in an untrustworthy relationship

The case 3 touched me. He said if you find your biological father, you will have 2. Hes a good man who said he is willing to step in and be there. I love that.

Well, in the last case it's crystal clear that the mom cannot be trusted! There's no telling who the dad is! It may be one of his brothers or uncles if her DNA linked up to his family!

He did right! Do not sign the birth certificate until you know for sure. That is the only way not to have an automatic 18 year bill without proof.
He didn't do right. If he felt that strongly and wanted to be a father, then he would've immediately requested a paternity test at the hospital. He should've never gotten involved with a woman who is already involved with someone else They're both liars, and the only innocent one is the baby. I feel sorry for the baby.

@@wudacudashuda_this way you know it's not always 100% chance that you will get those DNA tests to be accurate when the baby is born because the cells in the baby's cheek has not fully developed for them to be tested on okay they have shown this in several episodes like I would think you was watching all the episodes but I guess you're not so if you don't know anyting hush your mouth

There's pain and confusion in the first case without bitterness.
Case 1 she cheating on her current bf. And her new bf wanted to have an affair with her knowing she had a bf, they deserve each other.
I wonder if the woman in the 2nd case realize how messed up she sounds and how hurtful she is to the man she is living with. She is living with him and he loves the baby and yet she hope another man is the father - a man who wants no part of the child! Messed up mind

The third case someone told him he wasn’t the father and apologised. Can’t they ask that person who the real father is? Maybe it’s someone she’d rather not know. It’s then up to her. I’m guessing the mother said it was another guy she only slept with once because there’s some secret surrounding the person whose baby it is. Relative, married, friends partner a person that would cause issues. She gave the child up so maybe it’s someone not happy for her to name.
Last one the woman says “my mums always been honest with me but when I ask her what happened she only says “mr Johnson is your father” and says no more. She then finds out he isn’t the father.
Another woman tricked by her own mother she trusted - disgusting. Sickening I feel bad for her and the guy. Her mum belongs to the streets that’s for sure.
I also noticed that part too about her mother being honest with her. And I was thinking for this lovely woman I hope she is right but knew anything was possibe.
I wish more mothers would take accountability and see the damage this does. It causes so much pain all around.

In the first case, 15 seconds looking at the father didn't need DNA to say that he was the father

Was just coming to here to say that like I've seen this case a many of time and for some reason I overlooked that fact each time till this one. That means it is definitely someone related to him. Momma got around.

My oldest sons dad takes care of my daughter who isn’t his. I was even living with his family when I gave birth and they gave me a crib, clothes, everything and love her. They are in Mexico and Texas and they still have my little red head over on vacations and consider her family. He actually threw her a huge birthday this past august too, as well as bought her school clothes and pays for her phone bill. So YES another family can care for another non related child LIKE THAT.
But still why would she tell the other guy he is not the father if she's not sleeping with him? I'm pretty sure she is making bed with both and they have done a DNA test before she comes here.

The doctor didn't mention RH factor. If Dad is heterozygous and ahe is RH-, there can be a healthy baby.

Last episode so sad but bittersweet that the non-bio father is willing to be in her life. This is why mandatory DNA testing should happen in EVERY state, not just in Tennessee after they passed the law this year. The only reason for a woman to protest is because they know they are misbehaving and trying to pin the tail on the donkey with the most money potential or know their marriage/relationship is going to belly up when she is exposed for cheating. No sympathy for loose women and deadbeat men...but all the sympathy in the world for children who want to know who their father is and for men tricked into raising another man's child without his consent.
This is such a messy situation to bring a child into. She starts by saying she was in a relationship but was online meeting other people.
