When Necrium Apothecary was nerfed, the card stopped existing. Edit: I'm thinking of the other Anubisath. My bad.
The thing with cards from the older set is most of them are so god awful you forget about them in a few sets- you know; because you never see them. Anubisath Defender is one of those rare expectations, still finding spots in its last cycle out.

Ah, Trump, you make me so happy. I have been trying this all week. But mine didn't have C'thun in it, and I didn't have both Eclipses either - was trying to do a value/spell ramp thing into like, survival of the fittest and the owls and whatnot, but ended up with a 40% winrate I think. You made it work, you madman.
This is why I always liked running Nozdormu. Loved seeing enemies lose their shit rushing to make plays and lose.
Well your opponents aren't forced to sit through five seconds of animation time though

I played that deck to Legend as well... It takes a couple of games to really get the hang of it but this must be my favourite deck of the new expansion so far. HS Replay catagorizes this deck as "Spell Druid" with a 46% WR. My personal WR is at over 60%... I'd say this deck is really viable!
I love this deck! I started playing it but I just tweaked it a LITTLE bit because I think Guess the Weight is a must include! I took out a Steel Beetle, a Lunar Eclipse and a Solar Eclipse. I replaced the Lunar and Solar Eclipse with a Kiri, Chosen of Elune. Because hey, two for one is a good deal. And of course I added the two Guess the Weights. Anyway, it's been quite fun
Isn't the steel beetle pretty good against all these aggro out there. Heal 5 is pretty good in early game, current days, isn't it?
@@simplyrobin687 Steel Beetle is great, yes. But I find there's usually already enough healing in the deck with double Groundskeeper, the single Beetle, the overflows, the Cenarion Wards. I would like to have two Beetles sure, but I just didn't see anything else I wanted to cut. And the Guess the Weights are an absolute must have. Having just the Overflows for card draw isn't quite enough. But I do agree with you, Steel Beetle is really good. If you have a suggestion on something you would cut to put the second Steel Beetle back in, I'd definitely be down for the suggestion

I cut out the Umbral Owls, cost way too much for a 3/4 rush and by the time it's 0 cost you are winning anyway to need a small 3/4 minion. I put in 1 guess the weight and 1 wrath instead since you really need card draw and a lot of times 5 cards would cause you to overdraw anyway.

Love the deck! Tried it myselfe (but with kirin in it, cause i got her in golden) and finaly i could play c'thun to kill my oponend. Keep it up
I tried this deck today for about 10-15 games with a fairly low win rate. Main problem that I did have was with depleting my hand most of the time when I did not draw the Overflow.
The other problem was that the two Overgrowth cards are the only ramp in the deck and few times it was tough to get out of the early game, but this is manageable.
Well I think u got the problem here.
This deck is not that good, if you don't draw the right things.
I mean obv it's like that in every deck but Druids are pretty weak if your draw is weak.
It is not that consistent as it seems to be.

Probably something like the Solar Eclipse effect only applies within that context and it doesn’t consider Murazond spells as actually “played”. Do Murazond spells reduce Yogg or Umbral Owl? I don’t know, but it could show the same reasoning.
I think if you play another spell from hand it will trigger twice, but the murozond casted spell after solar eclipse wont have the same effect, just like battlecry minions wont have the battlecry effect when replayed by murozond.
But the opponent did play another card from hand afterward, and there was no double trigger

My theory is that since Murozond played a spell after the solar eclipse, the game didn't double play that because it came from Murozond, but afterwards did register that a spell was already played after Lunar Eclipse
I've been playing a variation of this deck since the release. It doesn't have strongman and only one anubisath. I instead have Zephrys, Kiri, and lightning bloom
How has Kiri been doing for you? I cut it from all my druid decks because it feels like most of my opponents are aggro and it's a pretty useless card in those matchups

@@Dwhizzle The rope starts the moment Nozdormu is summoned whether you're LifeCoach or an aggro deck.
Yogg's animation lasted 7 seconds, so that was a 7 seconds turn, essentially.

As funny as it is to see on stream that Yogg Nozdormu interaction really needs to be fixed. Long animations have always been an issue and it's just been made even more apparent.

@@Teal_. Other card games are nowhere near this bad. At least in those games, you have physical cards that retain SOME monetary value. You can also trade cards or just purchase the single card you want online for an agreed upon cost. Additionally, if you calculate out the gold you get per hour of gameplay compared to the average salary of a worker and how much card packs cost at game stores, Hearthstone packs are MORE EXPENSIVE than regular card packs where you get physical cards. This game is an absolute joke and I saw it for the bullshit it was back in Blackrock Mountain. Now I just watch Trump because I enjoy his content, but I would never play this shitty game again. Not when Yugioh is free online with literally every card ever printed available at your fingertips.
