Mrigasya is a nine-year-old boy from Guwahati who consulted experts from Dharamshila Narayana in the later part of 2020. He was suffering from end-stage kidney diseases wherein both his kidneys were not functioning correctly, due to which he was on dialysis. Since 2013, Mrigasya has been experiencing a burning sensation while urinating. When he was diagnosed, doctors found cysts on both his kidneys through an ultrasound test. For many years, Master Mrigasya was fighting against chronic kidney disease with uncontrolled hypertension. Doctors from Guwahati suggested that Master Mrigasya take guidance from Dr. Vikas. After consulting Dr. Vikas, Master Mrigasya's parents decided it would be best to travel to Dharamshila Narayana Superspecialty Hospital, Delhi, and get Master Mrigasya's kidney transplantation done. Mrigasya's mother donated one of her kidneys to her son.
Master Mrigasya's father elaborates on the aspects of his condition and sheds light on the tough times that they had to go through.
