With inflation and supply chain issues, I’m thinking it’s gonna be a record year. Ppl gonna turn from “ horn hunters “, to meat hunters, yeah I know deer have antlers not horns but it’s a common saying in the deer hunting world.

I seen them chasing this week in South Dakota I'm going to give them a couple more days before I go in I got a big boy I found him completely by accident driving around fishing but I've seen him 3 times from my truck hope I can get him he is in the 180 class for sure biggest whitetail I've ever seen on public land

Pay and go shoot in his farm. These deer are inside the fence line. No such thing like that in the wild.

Location doesn't matter, if you provide food sources and learn what to shoot anyone can grow bug bucks, if you shoot only management deer and big mature deer at 4 or 5 years old or older the good genetics will get passed down and the bad will be stopped. Good genetics + plenty of food (maybe a little rack growing food like trophy rack) = bug bucks

Michigan does have big bucks like that. I have pictures of one locally. Seen many monsters shot here as well. Good luck finding them!
